Snowman Kisses Treat Bags

Hello everyone! Today is my day to post on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and I have a fun project to share today! I made treat bags using the Snowman Kisses stamp set.

I am a huge Hersey's Kisses lover! When I saw this sentiment they were the first thing that came to mind and I finally had a chance to use it! I stamped and cut the snowman to fit on the top piece and I also used the SVG's that come with the stamps. I colored the snowman using my Spectrum Noir markers.

Here is a closeup of the sentiment and snowman.  I chalked up the rosy cheeks and added some sparkle using my Wink of Stella pen and I was done! These snowmen are so easy to color. Using this stamp set was a very quick way for me to make a bunch of treat bags and what I like about this set is that it is not just for Christmas, you can use it throughout the winter months! I love the snow capped letters on the word KISSES!

Hand Santa-tizer Goodies For The Stocking

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!! I hope you are all having a fantastic holiday! I have just a little tiny project to share with you today.... I made a ton of little hand "Santa-tizer" goodies :)

First I bought a ton of the little hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works (Love that store!) Then I made a wrap for them using double sided paper. The wrap is about 8.5" by 1 3/8".  I used the Craftin Desert Diva's November Freebie for the sentiment. I wanted a simple Santa since I had to make so many and found the perfect one on my Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge. I added some chalk to make his cheeks rosy and since he is so small I drew his eye.

I added a twine ribbon to each bottle top and a tiny pom pom to each Santa hat.

I am so happy with how they turned out and I was able to whip up quite a few.
Here is the stamp set I used for the sentiment.

Let It Snow Snowflake Box

Hello and Happy Monday! Are you all ready for Christmas? With just a few days left I'm still scrambling to get the last bit of my hosting preparations done. A trip to the Post Office, a few presents left to wrap. and one last stop to the grocery store and I'll be ready!

Today is my day to share a project on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog.  I made some little snowflake papered gift boxes and wanted to share one with you! I used my Craftin Desert Diva's stamps to decorate it :)

The little box and paper is from my Cricut Imagine Christmas Wishes cartridge. I printed and cut at "fit to page" and it stands about 5 inches tall. I used an EK Success border punch for the glittered white band going around the box.  I stamped the snowman and used the SVG that comes with the Snowman Kisses stamp set. This snowman was so much fun to color with my Spectrum Noir pens. I really find it relaxing and it was pretty fast and easy to do. I added some Stickles to the hat for extra sparkle.

I used the Tag It stamp set and SVG for the tag and the sentiment is from the Snowman Kisses set. I added some glitter around the edges of the tag. I used a silver snowflake brad and tied a twine bow. I love the Tag It set and the SVG's really make it fast and easy to use.

Here are the full stamp sets and you can find them

A Puppy In My Stocking

Hello everyone! Can you believe there is only 5 more days til Christmas? Yikes! My how the time flies! Preparations are still in progress for hosting Christmas at my house and I have so many presents to wrap still!!! Today I am sharing a Christmas card that reminds me of my daughter when she was little.

This adorable little girl file is from Too Cute By Jessica's Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Girls. I used a Peachy Keen Face Stamp from the Christmas In July set. The puppy in the stocking is from the TCBJ's  A Puppy For Christmas file. I added pearls to the bows and buttons to her shirt. I love the little white stockings with black shoes just like my daughter wore when she was tiny. The sparkly poinsettia is a Recollections embellishment.

For the sentiment I used the Craftin Desert Diva's  Tag It and the Happy Celebrations stamp sets.

Winter Penguin Decorating His Igloo

Hello my crafty friends! Is everybody ready for Christmas? My son has been so kind to announce every single day just how many days are left, lol! Do any of you host for the holidays? Lucky me I have Christmas every year at my house and it looks like I'm stuck with Thanksgiving now too..... For those of you who host, I salute you and wish you as low stress as possible, hee hee (If there is such a thing)! I don't think anyone can truly understand what goes in to hosting a holiday until you've had to do it year after year by yourself. I'm trying to buck up and not sweat the small stuff but...... it ain't easy!!

Today I have a cute little igloo shaped card to share :)

I used the Too Cute By Jessica Cute Winter Penguins file that was a Craftin Desert Diva's hop freebie. I just love these adorable and chubby little penguins! The Igloo and light strings are from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge. I welded and cut the igloo shape at about 4"x 11 3/8". I hand cut the glitter paper along the bottom for the snow.

The colored papers are all from my scraps box. I used flocking powder for the cute little beanie. I also added some Wink of Stella glitter on the lights. The face is from the Peachy Keen Winter Wonderland Face Assortment.

This picture captures the sparkle!

The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Get Your Jingle On set and I used the SVG that goes with it.  Here are pics of what I used:

Cute Christmas Bird Gift Shaped Card

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!! Today is my day to post on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and I have a sparkly gift shaped Christmas card to share.

I used the Cricut Wild Card cartridge for this shaped card. It is cut at about 7.25". For the ribbon I used some sparkly white card stock from Martha Stewart and the candy cane paper is from a MAMBI sheets Christmas stack. I can't find the name on it but it has the CUTEST papers!

The little bird is from the Too Cute By Jessica Cute Christmas Birds file. I cut her out at about 2.75". Oh my goodness I love this file! I love birds almost as much as I love bunnies!! I have been dying to use the Variety Face Assortment stamps from Peachy Keen just for this birdie face! I added little tiny pearls and sparkle to her scarf. I used metallic markers for the design on the ornament and added a gold bow. I also added sparkly red to her wings and the Wink of Luna sparkle to the white on her Santa Hat.

For the sentiment I used the CDD Simply Christmas stamp set. This stamp set is one of my favorites and is simply a must have for all your holiday projects.  Here is a close up of the sentiment I used.  I love that festive font!

Gingie Sock Cupcake

Hello and happy Friday!!! Yay for the rain here in SoCal!! I do hope everyone is being safe. Nobody seems to slow down here while driving in the rain :(  It feels cold in my craft room today. I had to crank the heater so I could try to catch up with my blogging after finishing up this semester. My students did a fabulous job in their recitals and all my work is done. Now I get more time to spend playing with my cutting machines!! I say machines because even with the Explore I still need my other machines!  I still use my Imagine and sometimes if I'm in a hurry it is just faster to plug in my Expression. It can take near forever to find specific cuts on the Design Space.

I made this cute little sock cupcake for one of my daughter's Secret Santa presents. I forgot to take a pic of the socks but they had little Gingerbread men embroidered on the sides. I used Kraft and brown cardstock and the Sweet Treats Cartridge for the cupcake box. I rolled up the sock to be cupcake shaped.

I don't even know what cartridge the tag I used is from.  It is just one in a million that popped up when I searched "tag". It's not the one I wanted but I couldn't find the one I wanted on DS even after refining my search over and over. The adorable little Gingie is from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge. I added sparkly purple bows as well as some bling.  And the sentiment is from the awesome and ever so popular Get Your Jingle On stamp set from Crafting Desert Diva's. I love these stamps!!

Playful Little Penguin

Hello my crafty friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Finals week has really kept me busy and between grading and making my student's Dvd's I have much to do this weekend!

I wanted to share today a Christmas card I made using a Too Cute By Jessica file called "Playful Little Penguins".

I started with an A2 card base of shimmery ivory. I cut the little penguin out at about 3.25 inches. I used some Christmas paper for his scarf and the top note shape which is from the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge. I stretched it to get the right size on Design Space.

The adorable sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's Get Your Jingle on Stamp Set. I used the SVG that comes with it. The ribbon is from my stash and the sparkly candy cane embellishment is from Recollections.

I added some eyeleashes and pink chalk for the cheeks..... Some bling for the holly and a pom pom for the little Santa hat. Lastly I brushed the hat and parts of the scarf with my Wink of Stella pen for extra sparkle. I need to get another one since I've almost used it up!!

Baked With Love Holiday tags

Hello everyone! Today is my day to share on the Craftin Desert Diva's Blog and I made a project using the "Baked With Love" stamps from the new release. I made these apron tags with a file from My Scrap Chick and I used 3 different sentiments.

I'm not really a tag maker but I do bake for friends and family over the holidays and these sentiments are just perfect so I thought I'd give it a try. Having the SVGs that go with the stamps made this project super fast and easy.

These aprons are so adorable! I've been going through my craft room trying to use stuff that I've had for ages and so out came my Crop-A-Dile. I haven't used eyelettes in forever and so I had to pull out my instruction sheet, lol. I have a bin full of eyelettes and brads!! I'm on a quest people! My New Year's Resolution will be to use my stuff and buy less. Well, use my stuff at least.... no promises on the buying less, hee hee!

The tags measure about 4". The papers are scraps from various Christmas stacks that I've been working through. I popped up the hearts and pockets for a little dimension. I used my Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the hearts.

Here is the fabulous stamp set I used!
