Isn't this bee cute!? There is a link to this free SVG pattern somewhere in today's hop lineup.

Today I have created a couple Valentine's Day cards using sentiments from the Sending Love set.

For this card I used my Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut the heart puzzle out in chipboard first and then cut cardstock pieces from a Carte Bella pad called Devoted. The heart border is from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge.

Here is a close up of this sentiment. I added a couple pearls to the swirls.

For my next card I used the Chevron card base from Digi Playground and cut it with this pretty plaid DCWV cardstock. The elephant is from the Cricut ZooBalloo cartridge. I used metallic silver cardstock for his outline and drew in the eyes.

The heart is from the Cricut Artiste cartridge. I glittered up the hearts and background with my Wink of Stella pen. This picture shows the shimmer. I added a pretty pink ribbon.

Here is a close up of the sentiment.

I stamped the inside using the Happy Valentine's Day stamp and I also used a sentiment from the Punny stamp set.

And don't forget the Giveaways!!!

Here is the project I created....

I made a masculine Valentine's Day card for my hubby. He loves The Nightmare Before Christmas and I chose this silhouette of Jack and Sally from Krafty Nook and added a shimmery heart from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge for the moon. I love this sentiment and it goes so well with the image.

The card base is a dark purple pearl card stock cut to make a 5"x7" card. I added a layer of paper from the DCWV Once Upon A Time stack. The heart moon is cut from a glitter stack. This pic captures the shimmer.

Cute Pug Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for my daughter's friend on the Yearbook team. Teenage birthday parties are so different. They had a limo take them all to Bubba Gump Shrimp at the Universal CityWalk. Since we just moved to the area a year ago I don't know any of the kid's parents. It is nerve wracking to me to send my daughter away with people I do not know. Of course I had to be the parent to go inside the house and meet the Dad and ask a gazillion questions.  They didn't get home til after midnight! Ugh, it was a long night of waiting for me, lol!

Anyway, Shelbi's friend loves her pug mixed pooch and I thought this little guy looked like one.

I used a light blue cardstock for my A2 card base. The pup is an SVG from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Pampered Pooch file. The papers are from DCWV Celebration Stack. The polaroid frame is from the Cricut Small Talk Frames & Tags cartridge.

I embossed some teal cardstock with a Darice Dot Background folder. The sentiments are from the Craftin Desert Diva's Happy Celebrations and Capture The Good Times stamp sets. I added a little twine and a little bling and that's it!

Here are pics of the stamps sets that you can find HERE.

I'm still working on more Valentine's Day stuff. It feels good being on schedule for a holiday!! I'm usually so behind. Thanks for hopping by!

I will participate in the following challenges:

Have a wonderful day :)

Whoo Loves You?

Hello everyone! It's my day to post on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and I have a Valentine's Day card to share.  I've been having fun using the CDD Punny stamp set. There are such cute sentiments to go with all kinds of creations. I've been crazy about owls lately and thought this sentiment was just perfect!

The adorable owl is from my Cricut Hoot 'n' Holler cartridge.  I think this is my favorite owl on that cartridge. I used a couple stamps from the Simply Said set. There are a great variety of sentiments to go with many different occasions. The word bubble is from the George cartridge. I went over it with my Wink of Stella pen to give it some added shimmer.  I used a hearts embossing folder made by Darice.

Here are close ups of the stamps I used.

Here are pictures of the two stamp sets I used.

Some Bunny Loves You

Hello and happy Thursday! I am on a quest!!! My goal is to "use my stuff"!  I have a craft room full of stuff that has never even been opened! I think for years I have shopped and bought because I love to craft but I never really had time with the exception of Girl Scout activities and projects.  This past year has been full of blessings and one of them is time to spend in my room. I still consider myself a newbie and there are so many techniques that I am wanting to explore.

Today I have a Valentine's Day card to share. I am really enjoying the pinks and the reds but today's card is all about white and pink......

Do any of you have these little Cuttlebug folders? I have several and have never quite figured out what to do with them.... I love this little bunny blowing heart bubbles and was determined to make something! This is what I came up with. I made an A2 card using the David Tutura shimmery pearl card base. I added a pink and white layer and I tried to not over decorate so the focus would be on the bunny.

I added a little white pearl for the eye to make it pop a little more. The gingham paper was from my scrap box. I also used my mini heart embossing folder. The banner is from my Cricut Small Talk Frames & Tags cartridge and the heart is from Craft Room Basics.

Here is a close up of the sentiment. It is from the CDD Punny set. It goes perfectly with my little bunny. I added a little heart puffy sticker.

Craftin Desert Diva's 3D Linky Party

Hi there crafty friends! It is time for another challenge and we would love for you to join us! The theme is to create any 3D project. Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi weekly linky party over at Craftin Desert Divas. We hope you will share your projects with us! And don't forget about the prizes! At every linky party there will be a winner and a Top 3. The more times you link up, the more chances you have to win!

This party our sponsors are:

ONE STAMP SET FROM CDD

Now here is what I made:

I made a 3D Valentine's Day card.  I used my Cricut Noah's ABC Animals cartridge to cut this cutie pie squirrel out at 5.5 inches. I embossed her tail with my Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder. The banner is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Tag It stamp set and I used the coordinating SVG. The sentiment is from two different sets. Nuts about U is from the Punny set and Valentine is from Happy Celebrations. I taped off to isolate just the word Valentine.

I added a little bow to her head. The nut is from the Tablescapes Fall & Winter cartridge. I inked it up and attached it to her paws with some twine. The neat thing is I fixed her legs so this card will fold flat to put into an envelope!

Here is a close-up of the tag and sentiment. I think this came out so cute and it was a lot of fun to make. I am on a quest to use my stuff this year and I have never used this cartridge before. I hope to try some other 3D animals soon! :)

Here are all the stamp sets I used. You can purchase these fabulous stamps and more HERE !!

Don't forget about the upcoming Craftin Desert Diva's new release:

I hope you will join our Linky Party and I do hope to see your projects in the CDD Gallery on Facebook!

Thanks for hoppin by and have a blessed day!
