Egg-Cited for Easter!!!

Hello everyone!! Today I am posting on the CDD blog and I want to share an Easter shaker card I made. 

 

I used the adorable bunny image from the Hunny Bunny stamp set. I colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers and stamped a little banner with this fun sentiment for this cutie pie to hold. As you can imagine, Spring is a happy time for me because everything is decorated with bunnies!! This little bunny is my new favorite stamp to play with!

I made it open from the bottom to get the full shaker effect when you open it. The egg is an svg that I altered to cut into the blue card stock layer. I embossed the layer with my scroll frame Cuttlebug folder.

Here is a close up of the stamped image and sentiment.  It seemed a little plain so I went over the embossing with some Stickles and also used some Prima flowers. I added pearls to the flower centers and added a few flower sequins and it finally felt done.
