Happy Fall Y'all

Hello friends! Today I am posting on the Craftin Desert Divas blog and sharing this Fall themed card with you. I just love the fall colors and had so much fun coloring up this sweet image from the Beary Thankful stamps using my Spectrum Noir markers.

I wanted to keep the image as the focal point and started out thinking I was going to make a clean and simple card. (I don't think I have successfully accomplished this ever, LOL!) Then I leaned towards a masculine look going for simple patterned paper with the orange and brown gingham and the kraft card stock. Then.... feeling it was too plain I added a sparkly bow and a sprinkle of sequins and ended up with this. CAS and masculine.... very challenging for me haha!

I used some chalk to rosy up his cheeks and added some cute freckles with my white gel pen. I colored the handle and wheels with metallic silver and added sparkles to the red in his hat. Finally I added this perfect sentiment from the Hey Pumpkin stamps. The stitched layers are from the Fancy Frame dies and I inked the edges with Distress Ink.
