Sending You A Birthday Pug

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing this card over on the Newton's Nook Design's Blog featuring the oh so cute Pug Hugs stamp set.

I stamped and heat embossed the images. The adorable balloons with the hearts are from the Delightful Doxies stamp set. I colored them all using Copic Markers. I cut them using my Scan 'n Cut but there are coordinating dies available for these images. For the background I cut out the scalloped rectangle from the Framework Die set. Then I ink blended it using Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, Broken China and Tumbled Glass.

 I thought it would be so cute to add the balloons and some twine for the strings. I popped them up using double sided foam tape. For a finishing touch I added some iridescent sequins and also added  sparkle marker over the balloons and birthday hat.
