Thinking of You

Hi everyone! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are featuring projects using the theme: "Sympathy/Thinking of You". I created a card featuring this sweet little bird from the A Little Note Clear Stamps set. 

To stamp this little bird I first used a light ink color for the outline to give a no-line coloring effect. I then used a variety of blue and gray inks in my stash to stamp inside the outline. To add more detail I  added shading with Copic Markers.

I stamped the birdhouse die using gray ink and the Wood Plank stamp. Then I ink blended the background on the scalloped rectangle. I cut out the vines in light green cardstock and inked over them with Distress Inks. I added the sentiment and for a finishing touch I added some light blue gemstones.
