Joining the Planner Wagon!

Hi friends! I decided to hop on the planner wagon! Well truth be told, I've always used a planner but I have never decorated one or used cutesy clips.... my planners have always been straight forward and very plain!

I ordered my planner from Amazon and after a little bit of research I decided on the Webster's Pages personal planner. It was really inexpensive and came with all the inserts. I actually ordered it as a Mother's Day present to myself but never got around to opening it up until a couple weeks ago.

I started out using some stickers I've had forever... I have SO many stickers!! I stamped and doodled and messed around with what I might do... I decided to color code my writing by using colored pens. Purple for me, green for my son, pink for my daughter and blue for everyday.

Next I decided to print my own stickers.  I went on Design Space and printed some images from all those Imagine Cartridges that I have on there and also created my own. These images are from Lori's Garden. I liked this coordinated look better. The pages are not very thick and when you stamp with black ink it will show through on the other side. I will try lighter colored inks next time.

Here are some of the clips I created. The Minions are from Okie Ladybugs blog. I've been following her blog for a long time and she created these adorable Minion SVGs. Her blog is terrific and I really enjoy her personality and crafting advice. I encourage you to go visit her blog. The Hipster Kitty stamp is from My Creative Time. The top bunny is from the Cricut Noah's ABC Animals and the other two bunnies are from the Pet Shop Cartridge.

Thanks so much for hopping by!

Dog House Thank You Card

Hello crafty friends! After taking a couple weeks off traveling to Texas, and spending time with family, I finally got a chance to make a card yay! I bought the cutest stamps from Jaded Blossom and just couldn't wait to color up this puppy! I wasn't sure what to make so I opened up Design Space and browsed some dog images and came upon this house from the Create A Critter cartridge....

I was inspired to make this shaped card for the cute pup from Jaded Blossom Puppy Dress Up stamps! I made the card base using Kraft card stock and cut it at 5.25" high. I embossed the doghouse with a Sizzix folder called Scallops and Lines. I used some patterned paper for the roof. I distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz Barn Door and Vintage Photo.

I cut the sign and stamped and embossed it with this adorable sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Kind Thanks set. I used burlap thread and a metal embellishment to hang it on the house. I'm still building my Copic collection and I used the following colors- Fur:E31, E50, E51, E55, E57, E59 Tongue: R12, R17  Paws and cheeks: R20 Tag: Y17. Finally I added a touch of gold metallic marker to the tag and white Gelly Roll pen for his cheeks. I wanted to keep this card gender neutral so I could give it to a guy or a girl. Hope you like it!

Thanks so much for hoppin by!!

Good Days Start With Coffee!

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing my second card for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
Wow there are SO many awesome coffee themed cards and projects. I have only been able to comment on the 1st hundred or so... Hopefully I will get through at least half!

For my card I used the adorable freebie from Jessica Lynn Original stamps. I added a little sun on the coffee mug and added lots of sparkle to it. The scalloped stitched die is from Gina Marie Dies. I colored this image with my Copics and a few Spectrum Noir markers. I added some sequins for a bit more sparkle. The stitched rectangle die is from My Creative Time.

Here is a closeup where you can really see how wonderful my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen is. I added some shimmery yellow ribbon and the sentiment is from Inky Antics Simple Sentiment set.  That's all for today!

Thank you so much for hoppin' by!!

Kawaii Nerdy-Thanks A Latte Card

Hello friends! Today I am participating for my first time in the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I LOVE coffee and I have enjoyed all the projects from past hops. I thought I'd join in on the fun and also have a chance to win some awesome prizes~

I made this shaped 5.25" card with Kraft card stock using my Cricut Explore and Phrases cartridge. It's kind of like a fancy Top Note shape.  I embossed the top layer with the Tim Holtz coffee themed Texture Fades On The Go folder. I inked it up with my Vintage Photo distress ink. The adorable Kawaii Nerdy Latte svg is from SVG Cutting Files.  I also embossed the lid of the coffee cup using a Sizzix embossing folder called Scallops & Lines.

I stamped and embossed this sentiment from Jaded Blossom Kind Thanks stamp set. The banner is from My Creative Time Ribbon End Dies. I used a pink polka dot paper to give it a little pop from all the brown. I topped it off with some iridescent sequins.

Finally I added some twine for a decorative accent. I hope you like it!! I'm working on a couple other coffee themed cards but today is Father's Day so I must take a break from my Craft Room and spoil my hubby!

Thanks so much for hoppin' by!

Doggie Hug Gift Card Holders

Hello friends!! Today I am sharing these adorable Doggie Gift Card Holders. Many of you know that my hubby is a Vet and I thought these would be perfect for his dog lovin' employees! Gift cards are the way to go on so many occasions so why not spruce them up with these cuties?!

The file is from Digi Playground and is called Schnauzer Hug Gift Card Holder. I have a couple schnauzer lovin' pals but I thought I would also use this same file to make a couple other breeds as well. Just by placing the nose higher and snipping the eyebrows you can get different terrier looks.

Here is what they look like opened up and the bottom has a pocket for the gift card. I also snipped the semi circle with my circle punch for easier access to the gift card. The pocket folds up and there are slits for the paws to stick into.

Here is the schnauzer.... I added some accents using my gelly roll pen and finished the eyes off with some glossy accents for a nice popped up shiny look. I cut his collar and heart out with red foil card stock and popped it up with 2 layers of foam tape. I inked around the layers with my distress inks to add some dimension.

He looks kind of like an Airedale pup. I stamped this sentiment and paw from the Pretty Cute Stamp set called Fur Baby.

This little cutie kinda looks like my white fluffy dog Minnie. Just a little terrier mixed mutt!

Thanks so much for hoppin by!

Have a blessed day!
