La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday- Easter

I created an A6 sized card. I colored up the bunnies and carrots from the Oh Crop! stamp set using Copic markers. To create the background I ink blended the sky, grass and dirt. I also colored the die cuts using Copic markers. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and for a finishing touch added some splatter.

Happy Spring

Hi everyone! I've got a card today to share featuring a Spring Fever Theme over at the La-La Land Crafts blog.  I created this card using the Oh Crop stamp set. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable bunny using Copics. This bunny is normally holding a egg but I trimmed out a little bit to make her hold the flowers instead :) I also used Copics to color in the grass and flowers. 

 I used distress inks to blend the background and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I also trimmed out a layer using the Spring Has Sprung Paper Pack. The cloud die added a nice touch to the sky. For finishing touches I added some Nuvo drops to the center of the flowers.

I Carrot About You

 Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share my first card as a design team member for La-La Land Crafts!! This week we are featuring items from the newest release, so you know I just had to use the adorable bunny from the Oh Crop stamps. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie tending to his carrot crop using Copic markers. For the background I cut out a rectangle and ink blended the sky using Distress Inks. 

For the ground I cut out the rectangle again but trimmed it using the Double Stitched Hills Border Die and inked it up using Distress Inks. I doodled some flowers onto the gardening boots using metallic pens.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added the little flower to the sweet bunny's ear. I hope you like my card. Have a great day :) Shop today at LA-LA LAND CRAFTS!

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 4

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the last day of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release. We have 2 stamps and coordinating dies: Newton's Rainy Day Trio and Daffodils.

Here is what I created.

For my first card I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable Newton's Rainy Day Trio under the umbrella using Copic markers. I also embellished with a white gel pen and sparkle marker and cut the image out using the coordinating die.  

I had fun creating this water colored background using some Distress Inks. I stamped and embossed the sentiments and added some rain using the white gel pen. I created the frame using two of dies from the Frameworks Die Set. 

Finally I embellished with some iridescent sequins. 

For my second card I stamped, embossed and colored up the beautiful florals and butterfly from the new Daffodils Stamp set and cut it out using the coordinating die. I also used the sweet little bunny from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set. For the background I dry embossed the card layers with the Basketweave Stencil. I cut the white layer using the Circle Frames Die set.  

I used the sentiment from the new Spring Roundabout Stamp set and cut it out using the Banner Trio Die set.  I embellished with some iridescent sequins.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 3

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the Day 3 reveal for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release! We have one new stamp set and coordinating die called Baa. 

Here is what I created.

I created a Spring themed slim line card. I stamped, embossed and colored up these cutie pie images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. The butterflies are from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set. 

For the card layers I used the Slimline Frames & Window Dies as well as the scalloped layer from the Slimline Frames & Porthole Dies.  I inked the background using the Slimline Masking Circles and Squares Stencil Set. I cut the patterned paper using the scalloped layer die and framed it with a rectangle layer in pink card stock. 

This card can be used for a baby shower or an Easter card or birthday or many other occasions.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 2

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the Day 2 reveal for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release. Today we have 2 new stamp sets and coordinating dies: Hoppy Greetings and Hare Mail. 

Here's what I created.

For my first card stamped, embossed and colored the adorable new image from Hoppy Greetings stamp set using Copic markers.  Using the new Basketweave stencil I dry embossed my card panel for some texture. I just love the way this new stencil!! 

To add some more color I used some fun Spring patterned papers from Doodlebug Designs and embellished with some iridescent sequins.

For my second card I stamped and embossed the post mark with white embossing powder across the heart from the Heart Frames Die set. I inked the background using Distres Inks. I used the new Bunny Tails stencil to dry emboss the bunny onto my card layer. Using the second stencil I added the tails with some sparkly Nuvo Glimmer Paste. I just love that background!!

I stamped, embossed and colored the adorable bunny in the envelope with Copic markers and finally added the stamped and embossed sentiment.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 1

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the Day 1 reveal for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release. Today we have the new Spring Roundabout Stamp set that coordinates with the Circle Frames Die Set and the Banner Trio Dies as well as the Basketweave Stencil and the Bunny Tails 2 piece Stencil Set. 

 Here is what I made:

I created an Easter card and tag set. First I stamped and embossed the Spring Roundabout stamp using white embossing powder to create the backgrounds. I ink blended them using Distress Inks in Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio. Next I dry embossed the new Basketweave stencil to create the basket textured backgrounds on white cardstock for both the card and the tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die set. I stamped and embossed the sentiments and cut them out with the Banner Trio Die. I cut four banners and used a partial diecutting technique in order to shorten the banners on the tag and then layered them over each other. 

I cut a circle out of the Basketweave stencil dry embossed panel and I also created a frame using the Circle Frames Die set to frame the stamped and inked background. I added the adorable bunny from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set and some iridescent sequins to complete my card.

Easter Bunny Gift Card Holders

Hi everyone! Today I have a couple Easter gift card holders to share featuring the SVG Cutting Files Bunny Gift Card Holder file.

So fun and so easy to put together! I stamped a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Easter Basket Fun stamps.

Then I added the bow tie from the Jaded Blossom Bow Dies cut using Doodlebug Design papers.

Jaded Blossom March 2019 Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's March 2019 Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Candace O's blog you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made:  

Using the new Cupcake Slider Die I created a handbag gift card holder and an Easter basket gift card holder. Here is a video for a closer look:

Using the Scallop Circle and Oval Dies and the Stitched Circle and Oval Dies I created the handles. I cut and trimmed the Cupcake outline die twice and adhered them together with the handle glued inside. For the Easter Basket I used the Spring Dies for the bunny, eggs and grass. The trim is from the Border Dies.

I also stamped the sentiment from the Easter Basket Fun stamps onto a layer from the Label Dies. The bows are both from the Bow Dies.

For the handbag I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the new Sugar Coat Everything set. I cut the flower from the Flower Dies and the Tropical Flower Dies. Finally I added some black beads onto the bottom trim.

Spring Is Sweet

Hi everyone! Today I have a sweet little Easter gift bag to share using the Handled Gift Box Die.

Instead of folding the box I trimmed the sides off and used the full cut for the front and back panels of the gift bag. I cut the bunny out of some flocked cardstock from the Spring Dies. I made a carrot banner using the adorable Spring Banner Dies. The front layers are from the Rectangle Dies 2 and the Scallop Rectangle 2 Dies.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Spring Sweet Treats stamps. I added the cute pink bow from the Bow Dies. Finally I added a pom pom for the tail, some mini pearls to the butterfly and bling to the bow.

Chick Gift Card Holder

Hi everyone! Today I have a project to share featuring the SVG Cutting Files Chick Gift Card Holder.

This little holder is super simple to put together and oh so cute! I added a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Spring Coffee Art and stamped it onto a stitched banner. I also added a little flower.

Finally I added some Glossy Accents over her beak.

Hey Chickie!

Hi everyone! I have some treats to share with you today featuring the new Jaded Blossom Pocket Tag Die and Hey Chickie stamps which is on a monthly spotlight special. I used spring colors to make some fun pockets.

I cut the layers using Doodlebug Design papers. I stamped, embossed and colored the images using Copics. 

I used the flower re-enforcer from the Treat Tag Dies.  I filled the pockets with some Ghirardelli chocolates.
