Thinking of You Shaker Card

Hi crafty friends! I today I have a shaker card to share featuring lovely stamps, dies and paper from Newton's Nook Designs. All the supplies I used are listed below.

This card features the Spring Bloom Ovals stamp set and the Oval Frames Die Set. First I stamped and embossed the floral frame using white embossing powder. Then I colored the image using Copic markers. I fussy cut the center out to create an opening for the shaker.

I chose a patterned paper from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad for the background. I stamped the sentiment in the center of a oval die cut and filled the shaker with a variety of clear and purple sequins.

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week with Newton's Nook Designs

 

Hello crafty friends! I am super excited to be a featured guest for the Newton's Nook- Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week!!! This is their 7th annual event and I am so happy to have been invited to join in on the fun!! My project today is a shaker slim line Christmas card featuring the adorable new Christmas Puppies stamps. How stinkin cute are these pups??!! And the sentiments are just as cute!

I also used the Slimline Frames & Window Dies  to create my shaker layer. I stamped and embossed the sentiment as well as the images and colored up the cuties using Copic markers. I used Christmas patterned polka dot papers from my stash to cut out 2 rectangles.  I cut out one to back the shaker and a larger one measured at 3.25"x 8.25"to frame the shaker layer.  Here is a video of how I made this card:

I just adore these images and had so much fun coloring them!! The sentiment "Peace, love and belly rubs" was perfect to place on the banner and the center of my card. I had to add the cute little bone tied with a red bow to finish it off!

Here is todays' reveal... the Snowglobe Die!

Here is what I made:

I created a shaker card using the new die and the Christmas Village House freebie! First I die cut the outline of the globe out of an A2 card base. Next I cute the frame layer 7 times to create the border for my shaker. I stamped, embossed and colored up the house using Copics.

I filled the shaker with snowflake sequins and confetti. Finally I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto silver cardstock and adhered it to the front of the snowglobe with brads. I just love this new die and all the fun coordinating stamps!

Jaded Blossom June 2017 Release Day 2

Hello friends! Today is the second day of reveals for the Jaded Blossom June Release! Today we are showcasing 2 new fabulous stamp sets!

Here is what I made:

I made a shaker gift card holder. I colored up this cutie pie genie using my Spectum Noir and Copic markers. I made a pocket using my fuse tool and some sheet protector plastic. Here is a video for a closer look:

I love how adorable this genie is! I filled my shaker with sequins from my stash. 

Next I made a Game of Thrones style Birthday Card.

I just love this themed set of sentiments! So many possibilities! I used my Cricut to cut out the scroll and quill. I inked the scroll, splattered some black distress ink, and embellished with a few clear sequins.

Shaker Planner Clip- Video Tutorial

Hello friends! Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom Blog!! I have a planner spread and a Shaker Planner Clip Video Tutorial to share with you. I decorated my planner and made these adorable planner clips using some of my favorite Jaded Blossom Dies and stamps!

I love this sweet little bird from the Funny Mail 2 stamps. I colored her with my Copics. I also watercolored the sky background in my planner and decorated with different washi tape. The planner stamps are from the Cleaning Icons set.

Here is a close up of the fun shaker planner clips. My favorite is the cloud using the Spring Dies 2.

I stamped and embossed the back with these fabulous sentiments and added lots of sparkle!

Shaker Tag Video Tutorial

Craftin Desert Divas January Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to the CDD January Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop.

Here's what I've created for you...

I made a couple Valentine shaker bookmarks for my kids. I couldn't resist crafting with these  mini stamps Slow and Scent. I used my Cricut to cut the bookmark from the When I Was A Kid cartridge. I changed the dimensions to fit my stamps and they measure 2.2" x 5.5".  I then stamped and embossed these 2 cuties and used the masking technique to stamp the books. The sentiment for the turtle is from the CDD Totally Turtle stamps. The stack of books stamp is from the Beyond Measure stamps.

Once I had everything colored with my SN markers and glued together, I sprinkled the new hearts sequins over each bookmark and used my fuse tool to seal them in. I haven't used it in a couple months and had to relearn my technique. It took me a few tries to get it just right. I'm not convinced that the seal will last forever LOL! 

 

I used eyelets for the hole and pulled some ribbon through
 and that was about it!

I definitely want to make some more of these. It was fun! I hope you like them!
