Here is what I created:

I created a spooky slimline card featuring several new die sets. To create the background I used the new Slimline Spiderweb Cover Plate Die and glued it over an ink blended panel measuring 8.5"x 3.5". Next I die cut the new Slimline Staircase Pop Up Die out of black cardstock and glued two gates that I trimmed down from the Spooky Halloween Cemetery Gate Dies.

I cut out the animals and glued them to the front and top of the gates. I also cut the tombstones from the A7 Witch On the Hill Cover Plate Die and added them to the stair case for that middle layer of the pop up.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the new Witch's Brew stamp set. For a finishing touch I added red gemstones to the spiders in the web. I hope you like my card. Here is more info on the hop:

La-La Land Inspiration Monday Hello Friend

Hello crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday on the La-La Land Crafts blog and our theme is: Hello Friend. All the links to the products I used and the colors are listed below. Here is what I created:

Aren't these just the cutest pups ever?! I decided to create a slimline card so I could feature all three. I think slimlines are my favorite style of card! Using the new Inverted Scallops Square die I cut three squares on a white cardstock panel to create the frame. Next I ink blended a background layer using Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped, embossed and colored up the pups using Copic markers.

I die cut the flowers and grass and colored them with Copic markers as well. I cut out a turquoise rectangle to add some more color and adhered the panels to the white slimline card base measured at 3.25" x 8.5". I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Wood Planks Background stamp set onto the smallest die from the Scalloped Rectangles Die set. For a finishing touch I added an enamel heart and yellow gems to the flower centers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you like my card. Have a great day :)

Wishing You a Purr-fect Day!

Hi everyone! I have a slim line card to share today for Newton's Nook Designs. I just adore the kitty stamps so much and I'm in need of birthday cards so I will be focusing many of my projects to come in hopes to build my birthday stash.

For today's card I decided to do a slim line featuring the images from both the Newton Loves Cake and Newton's Antics stamps. I dressed them all in birthday hats using masking technique, stamped, embossed and colored them using Copic markers. I also doodled on their hats using a white gel pen.

I love the new Slimline Masking Stencils and used the squares to do some ink blending with my Distress Inks. I kept with the same colors as the party hats creating a soft pastel background for my kitties. I stamped sentiments from both stamp sets and used both the Slimline Frames & Portholes and  Slimline Frames & Windows Dies to add the frame and scalloped layers to my card.

Lately I have really enjoyed creating Slimline cards. What's your favorite type of card to create?

Here are the products I used:

Dies- Slimline Frames & Portholes, Slimline Frames & Windows

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you like my card. Have a great day :)

More Club La-La land February 2021 Kit Projects

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share some more projects as a guest designer for La-La Land Crafts using the amazing February monthly kit ! I created two more cards using the Club La-La Land Crafts February 2021 Club Product Kit to show you today! The club kits are a monthly subscription and are a great value! This month's kit is '50s Retro-themed.  There are three ways you can subscribe: the Product Kit which includes both the rubber stamps and a set of exclusive Dies, the Stamp Kit which includes just the stamps OR the Dies Only Kit. A new kit is showcased around the 15th of every month!
Here is a video for a closer look at my two cards:

For my first card I created a slim line featuring the adorable dancing poodles and Jukebox die. I colored them using Copic markers. I also used patterned papers from the LLLC Love You More paper pack.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and placed it over the heart that I inked in an ombre style using Distress Inks.

I also added some bling and sparkle to the Jukebox Die.

For my second card I used an A6 card base. I stamped, embossed and colored up Retro Marci using Copic markers. I created a shaker with the Jukebox die using some tulle and iridescent sequins.

The sentiment works perfectly for the shaker! I also did some light checkered stenciling using Distress Oxide ink and the stencil from the Everything Is Rosy pack. Finally I added bling and sparkle to her glasses and belt.

Have A Really Cool New Year!

Hi everyone! Today I am posting over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog with a card to help ring in the New Year featuring some cuteness from Lawn Fawn! 2020 is nearly over and I sure hope 2021 will be a better year for us all!

To create my card I started off with the Slim Window Dressing scalloped layer die from Mama Elephant. I inked it up using Distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Broken China. I added the tree layers using the Lawn Fawn Slimline Forest Border die. I stamped, embossed and colored up the images from the Lawn Fawn Yeti or Not and Party Animal stamps using Copic markers.

The snowflakes were cut from glittered cardstock using the Mini Snowflakes Lawn Cuts die. I also embellished using a white gel pen and some sparkle marker.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and I hope you will check out these goodies in the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop. Have a great day and I'm wishing you all the best to come in 2021!!

Meowy Christmas

Hi everyone! Today I am over on the Butterfly Reflection's Ink blog sharing a Christmas card featuring colors from this month's Mood Board challenge. The adorable images are from Newton's Nook A Kitten Christmas stamps and coordinating dies.

I stamped, embossed and colored these cuties using Copic markers. I kept with the vintage blues and forest greens and pinks. For the background scalloped layer I used the Mama Elephant Slim Window  Dressing Dies. I used Distress Inks in Broken China and Tumbled Glass to blend the blue snowy sky background and splattered some white paint for the snow fall. I cut out the window frame using the Newton's Nook Slimline Frames & Windows die

I inked the squares using the Newton's Nook Tiny Trees stencil and Distress Inks in Pine Needles and Evergreen Bough. For the touch of Gold I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the banner diecut. I cut out some branches with an older Martha Stewart punch and created the glittery pink bow from the Mama Elephants Basic Set. I also fussy cut the snow in white glitter cardstock across the top of the banner.

I popped the kittens up using some foam adhesive tape. I added lots of sparkle to the kitten's hat and cut out some sparkly glitter snowflakes with the Lawn Fawn Mini Snowflakes Die set.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I inspired you to join the Mood Board Challenge. Be sure to share your creations on Instagram with the #brimoodboard for a chance to win a $20 credit to the shop!  Have a great day!

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week with Newton's Nook Designs

Hello crafty friends! I am super excited to be a featured guest for the Newton's Nook- Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week!!! This is their 7th annual event and I am so happy to have been invited to join in on the fun!! My project today is a shaker slim line Christmas card featuring the adorable new Christmas Puppies stamps. How stinkin cute are these pups??!! And the sentiments are just as cute!

I also used the Slimline Frames & Window Dies  to create my shaker layer. I stamped and embossed the sentiment as well as the images and colored up the cuties using Copic markers. I used Christmas patterned polka dot papers from my stash to cut out 2 rectangles.  I cut out one to back the shaker and a larger one measured at 3.25"x 8.25"to frame the shaker layer.  Here is a video of how I made this card:

I just adore these images and had so much fun coloring them!! The sentiment "Peace, love and belly rubs" was perfect to place on the banner and the center of my card. I had to add the cute little bone tied with a red bow to finish it off!

I hope you like my card. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day :)

Spellbinders FSJ Sweet As Honey- Buzzworthy Collection

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share with you some projects I created featuring a stamp set and stencil from the Spellbinders Buzzworthy Collection!

I created 2 cards. The first one is a slimline card. I used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Hexagons. I stamped, embossed and colored the images with Copic markers. Here is a video for a closer look!

I absolutely love the images in this stamp set!! I embossed the center hexagon using the stencil for added dimension. I also stenciled the background using Distress Inks : Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade. I embellished with sequins and some sparkle over the bee wings.

For the second card I used the stencil to emboss the base panel at an angle to leave the top of the card smooth. I added a strip of black card stock for a border. I embellished with sequins, some glitter marker over the flower center as well as some added sparkle over the bee's wings.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I hope you like my cards. Here are links to the Spellbinders Buzzworthy collection stamps and stencil that I used:

Trick of Treat Slim line Card

Hi everyone! Today I am so excited to be over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog sharing this Halloween slimline card featuring the adorable Lawn Fawn Fox Costumes Before'n After stamps. I just think they are the cutest!!

To create my card I used the stitched layer from the LDRS Slim Line Scallop Dies and ink blended the background using Distress Inks. I masked off a circle for the full moon. I also added some splatter and the bats from the Lawn Fawn Build A House Add On Halloween Dies. I built the houses by trimming them down to a single story using the Lawn Fawn Build-A-House dies.  I colored in the windows using Copic markers.

I cut the grass layer using the MFT Grassy Hills Die-namics. I stamped, embossed and colored the images using Copic markers and cut them using my Scan 'n Cut but you can use the coordinating Lawn Cuts Fox Costumes Before 'n After. I popped the images up using foam tape and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I did add lots of sparkle to the moon and their costumes although it is hard to see in the pics.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will go check out all the awesome products at the shop! Have a great day :)
