Hi everyone! I have a heart shaped card to share with you today.
I used the Jaded Blossom largest hearts from both the Heart Dies 1& Heart Dies 2 and patterned papers from my stash to create the card base and layers. The Pooh and bee are cuts from my Cricut. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Got Candy that is on sale this month for only $10.99! The banner is from the Mini Tag Dies 2.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you like my card! Have a great day :)
Hello crafty friends!! Yesterday was my crafty gal meet up and I had such a blast! What an amazing and fun group of ladies!! We played a game of "pass the saran wrap ball" that was full of goodies and we each had 10 seconds to unwrap a layer and pass it on. It was hysterically funny!! I didn't win anything but my sis managed to score a small rubber stamp, washi tape and a Michael's Gift card woo hoo! I haven't laughed that much in ages!
Today I am sharing the Fall Critter themed flip/mini book I made for the white elephant exchange. I am happy to say that it was loved by the person who "stole" it haha! Yay!
I used a file from Lori Whitlock for the mini album and My Scrap Chick for the foxy boxy.
I created my first paper tassel! How fun is that! The cutie pie fox on the cover of the book is from KaDoodle Bug Designs. The leaves are from my Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge. I created the hello svg and cut it out with glittery gold card stock. The owl is a charm from JoAnns.
The foxy boxy is an altered cut. It is normally a belly box but I switched it up to house my little book.
The mini album fit perfectly and I wrapped it with this fall colored ribbon to secure it inside.
I had this adorable owl tissue paper that fit perfectly with the theme. I will try to get pics up of the flip book I "stole" during the white elephant exchange as well as the goody bags I got. I can't wait to go through and open them all up!
Thanks so much for hoppin by!! Have a blessed day!
Hello friends! Today I have a bumble bee pocket letter to share with you. I have used all kinds of CDD goodies throughout my project! I made this one for my Sis who got me hooked on the whole Pocket Letter idea! I went with her to a meet up and got to meet Janette Lane the founder and creator of the Pocket Letter. She was so sweet and pretty! I had the best time, met some talented crafty ladies and got so many goodies!!
Most of the cards were cut using the new stitched rectangle from the Pocket Pieces Hi Dies. I also used my Cricut for some of the die cuts, The mini tag hanging on the side is from the Cricut Creative Everyday cards cartridge.
The tags in the first row are from the Fancy Frame Dies and the Pocket Pieces Hi Dies. The sentiment is from the Just Bug-cause stamps. The little bee is from the Pooh and Friends Cartridge, the honey pot is from the Just Because cartridge, the center bee is from Paisley & the bee holding the gift bag is from Birthday Bash. I glittered up all the wings with either wink of stella or stickles.
These bees are stamped, embossed and colored with my Spectrum Noir markers. I used the Just Bug-Cause and Lil' bit Buggie stamps. The Hi is from the Pocket Pieces Hi Die. The honey is from my Martha Steward Drippy Goo punch. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the honeycomb pattern. The Bee Happy is from the Just Because cartridge.
The bee background paper was made using the sweet little bee from the Sending Love stamps. I doodled the little trail. The speech bubble is from the Mix It Up Dies and the sentiments are from the Just Bug-Cause and Lil Bit Buggie stamps. The shaker was made with the Silver & Gold sequins. The cute little bee is from the Give A Hoot Cartridge.
Here are all the goodies I used and you can find these
Hello my crafty friends! I can't believe I have reached 100 posts. I am so thankful and blessed that I have been able to spend time crafting and blogging. What a fun year this has been. One of the best things is being a part of the Craftin Desert Diva's DT and crafting with some amazingly talented ladies.
Today is my day to post on the CDD blog. I am sharing a Fall card I made using a sentiment from the CDD "Lets Get Stuffed" stamp set. I am loving this cooler weather at my home in SoCal and the leaves are all finally turning colors! I made this card using my purple Cricut Explore. I am so loving the cuts on my new machine. I am learning something new every day.
I put together this little card with Pooh bear peeking out from the pumpkins. I used my Pooh and Friends cartridge. I cut the Pooh at 1.5 inches. I'm so happy with how he cut out while being so small. I used some DCWV Fall card stock and the leaves were cut with my Imagine. I glittered up the leaves with Wink of Stella.
Here is a close up of the sentiment I used. It is just perfect! I have used every stamp in this set! I just love it! There's still time to get some Thanksgiving crafting done and these stamps are definitely the best!
Be sure to check out the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and join our Linky Party. There is also a new release coming with some stamps you will not be able to resist with a hop, prizes, and SVG freebies too! Stay connected by joining us at the CDD Facebook Gallery. Thanks for hopping by!
What a crazy last few weeks! I had 2 shows and got real sick with the flu right smack in the middle of them! Needless to say I am way behind on all my crafting:( I spent this last week working on this card for my sister's birthday. Of course it is late but I'm hoping the "better late than never" saves me on this! We plan on doing a get together with my mom so I can give it to her then.
So I made yet another card in a box (I'm loving these!) She is a big fan of Winnie the Pooh so I chose that for my theme. The Pooh and honey pot die cuts are from the Pooh and Friends Cricut Cartridge. The papers and cardstock are all from my scraps box so I have no memory of where they came from. The cute little bees and daisies are from Jolees. I found those on sale a while back and just knew I would make something with them for my sis.
I used the plastic from the Cricut cartridge outer shell to prop up those bees. The banner and fancy butterfly square cuts are from the Elegant Edges Cartridge. I used stamps from Pink By Design, My Pink Stamper and Joy's Life.
I love the look of Spring as we are definitely there here in So. California. My allergies have kicked in on top of what's left of my cold.
I didn't go crazy with inserts this time and the card should fit in my leftover envelopes from my Costco Christmas Cards. I haven't made the A2 size card yet and I do really like these bigger ones. But I plan on making the smaller ones soon.
Now I am off to work on some more projects for my Daughter's birthday party and just maybe if I'm successful I will get them posted. I'm always bummed when I don't have time to photograph them and get them on my blog. I love the bloggy world of paper crafting and was lucky enough to win some DCWV stacks from the blog Hiding in My Craft Room. I just got them in the mail today and can't wait to use them :)
