BRI Sending Smiles Across the Miles

Hi crafty friends! Today I am participating in an INSTAGRAM HOP! We are “Sending Smiles Across the Miles” to celebrate and show support to our dear friend Vanessa, the hardworking owner of Butterfly Reflections Ink @butterflyreflectionsink. We wanted to send cheer and well wishes her way, to remind her that even though her Design Team is spread all across the world, our BRI family is here for her.

I created a pink butterfly themed card for Vanessa using one of my favorites from Newton's Nook Designs. You can find this stamp and coordinating die in the shop. I inkblended the background using Distress Oxide Inks. The image was heat embossed with sparkly gold embossing powder. I added a bit of color using pink Copic markers and cut out the image using the Heart Frames Die.

I stamped and embosse the sentiment and added some sparkly gemstones for a finishing touch. I hope Vanessa likes the card when she receives it in the mail.

Deck the Halls With Inky Paws Blog Hop

Hi crafty friends! I am so excited that it's time to "deck the halls with inky paws" and hop along for a chance to win an amazing prize from Newton's Nook Design! Be sure to read and scroll all the way down to learn how you can win! We are all sharing Christmas projects today and I created a "non-traditional winter themed card featuring one of my favorite stamp sets: Bitty Bunnies!

I stamped, embossed and did some simple coloring using Copic markers on these adorable bunnies playing in the snow. The snow banks were created using the Land Borders Die. The trees from the Holiday Home stamps were colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Holiday Home coordinating dies.

The scalloped layer was cut using the Slimline Frames & Porthole Die. The background was created using soft ink blending technique with Distress Oxide inks. To create the snow, I used the Petite Snow Stencil and some white texture paste. To finish the card I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Heartfelt Holidays stamps.

In addition to the projects we are sharing today there is also a sale at the shop!!

Newton's Nook Designs November Release- Day 3

Hey there crafty friends! Today is Day 3 of the reveals for Newton's Nook Designs November release! Today we are featuring the Snow Angel Newton & Snow Angel Puppy + Coordinating Dies, and the Roll with It stamps. The new products will be available in the shop tomorrow! There is also a giveaway so make sure you read all the way to the bottom to learn how to enter. I hope you'll hop along for the chance to win! Here is what I created:

I created a pair of thank you cards using the new snow angels stamps and dies. I stamped, embossed, and colored up both images using Copic markers. I added some glittered Nuvo drops to the snow angel wings and popped the images up on double sided foam tape.

The trees were cut from the Forest Scene Builder Die and shaded with Copic markers. The snow bank was cut using the Land Border Dies. I ink blended the background and stamped and embossed the sentiment and snowflakes. For a finishing touch I added some snow splatter.

For my last card, I stenciled an ink blended background using the Snowfall Stencil and some texture paste. I stamped and embossed the Roll With It Stamp and added some coloring using Copic markers.

Using the Land Borders Die I cut a snow bank and added some sparkly gems for a finishing touch.
