Spellbinders Sweet Serenade Collection

Hi crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects that I created for the Spellbinders blog featuring the new Sweet Serenades Collection. Here are the cards I created:

I love creating little notecards as well as the larger slimline cards and this versatile collection makes it so easy to create both! The first project I created is a slimline card featuring the Flourished Sonata Notecard Dies.

I absolutely love the shape of this card as a slimline. The scrollwork detail is gorgeous! I cut out the florals and branches using the Christmas Bloom Etched Dies and used the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments to create a thank you card. The words cut out beautifully with the Mirror Gold Cardstock.

I added details to the little bird using Copic markers. I also added a foiled sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. For a finishing touch I added some gold sparkly gems.

The last card is my favorite. I also added some details to the little bird using Copic markers. I love the wintery look of the little bluebird with the Mirrored Silver Cardstock sentiment. I also added a foiled sentiment.

I really hope you like the cards I created using the Sweet Serenade Notecards collection. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. I hope you will visit the shop and check out the amazing new products! You can also find more of my projects on Instagram @thescrappinrabbit. I hope you have a great day!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release Day 4

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Holiday Release and we have 3 new stamp sets and coordinating dies to reveal! I'm so excited to share the projects that I created featuring the Prehistoric Christmas, Heartfelt Holidays, and Christmas Pheasant stamps and coordinating dies! All the products will be available for purchase on Friday! Here is what I made:

First of all, I must say that these dinos are just the cutest!! I chose the t-rex and stamped, embossed, and colored him up using Copic markers, I cut him out using the coordinating die. To create the background I ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks and cut out a snow bank from the Land Borders Die. It's hard to see in the pic but I ran the Petite Snow Stencil over the white layer through by big shot for added texture. I felt like it needed a bit more color so I diecut the banners using the new Meowy Christmas paper pad to add a finishing touch.

For my second card I stamped, embossed and colored the branches, berries and leaves using Copic markers. I die cut the heart using the Heart Frames Die set. For more texture I ran the white card stock layer and the Snowfall Stencil through my big shot. I love how you can used stencils like an embossing folder! It gives it slight dimension and adds so much!!

I added the peppermint striped paper to the bottom and gold embossed the sentiment. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.

For my final card I stamped, embossed and colored up the pheasant with Copic markers. I had no idea they were so colorful! I created a little snowy scene using the Forest Scene Builder and Land Border Dies.

I added some Copic shading to the trees and ink blended the background using Distress Oxide Inks. To frame the image I die cut the scallop rectangle from the Frames & Flags Die. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.

The new holiday release will be available in the shop tomorrow!!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release Day 3

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Holiday Release and we have 2 new stamp sets and coordinating dies to reveal! I'm so excited to share the projects that I created featuring the Christmas Cocktails and Dairy Christmas stamps! All the products will be available for purchase on Friday! Here is what I made:

How cute are these Christmas Cocktails?!! I stamped, embossed and colored up the images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I added a light ink blended background with pink distress oxide ink. I love the pink and red combo in Christmas colors! I also used the new paper pack for the stripes in the background. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

This next image just makes me smile! I stamped, embossed and colored it using Copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating dies. I love using a coordinating die for images like this where the little cuts allow a peek through to the background. You can't do this with fussy cutting!

Next I created a little scene and framed it using the gingham print from the new Meowy Christmas Paper Pack. I ink blended Distress inks for the grass and sky and created the hills using the Land Borders Die. The Fence Die was perfect to complete the scene.

Here is a list of the goodies I used:

Products Used:
Christmas Cocktails Stamp
Christmas Cocktails Die
Meowy Christmas Paper Pack
Dairy Christmas Stamps
Dairy Christmas Die

Would you like to win the “Christmas Cocktails” or the “Dairy Christmas” Stamp Set? We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!
