La-La Land Inspiration Monday Hello Friend

Hello crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday on the La-La Land Crafts blog and our theme is: Hello Friend. All the links to the products I used and the colors are listed below. Here is what I created:

Aren't these just the cutest pups ever?! I decided to create a slimline card so I could feature all three. I think slimlines are my favorite style of card! Using the new Inverted Scallops Square die I cut three squares on a white cardstock panel to create the frame. Next I ink blended a background layer using Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped, embossed and colored up the pups using Copic markers.

I die cut the flowers and grass and colored them with Copic markers as well. I cut out a turquoise rectangle to add some more color and adhered the panels to the white slimline card base measured at 3.25" x 8.5". I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Wood Planks Background stamp set onto the smallest die from the Scalloped Rectangles Die set. For a finishing touch I added an enamel heart and yellow gems to the flower centers.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog it is Inspiration Monday and we are sharing cards featuring Clear Stamp Sets. For my card I used the Tee-rific Clear Stamps. All the links to the products and the colors I used are listed below :)

I stamped, embossed and colored up this adorable hamster using Copic markers. I fussy cut him out. The hills were inked using Distress Inks. I cut the trees and stump out of white card stock and colored them using Copics. I cut the leaves out of green card stock and inked around the edges.

For the sunset I used Distress Oxide inks and blended the sky using the Summer Is Here stencil. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Ape About You stamp set. For a finishing touch I added some gemstones to the trees :)

Halloween Inspiration with Newton's Nook Designs

Hi everyone! Today we are sharing Halloween inspiration over on the Newton's Nook Designs blog! the links to the products and the colors I used are listed below:)  Here is what I created:

 

I used the adorable kitty in the coffin from the new Count Newton stamps and dies. I just adore the images in this set! I stamped, embossed, and colored up this cutie using Copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating dies. I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the banner die cut from the Frames & Flags Die set. You can adjust the size of the banner using partial die-cutting technique.

 To create the background layer, I inked it up using Distress Oxide inks. I used the Spiderweb Stencil and Deco Foil Transfer Gel to add the spiderwebs to the corners of my inked panel. I ran it through my laminator with some shimmery silver foil. I got a bit of over foiling but I think it still looks so sparkly amazing!! For a finishing touch I added some silver metallic splatter to the background. I popped up both Newton and the sentiment on double sided adhesive foam and finally glued the panel to a black A2 sized card base.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi everyone! Today is Inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and we are featuring cards using the newest release! All the products and colors I used are listed below. Here is what I created:

I can't get enough of these adorable mice from the Pizza My Heart Stamps! I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie using Copics. I stamped a wood grain background using the Wood Planks stamp and die cut it using the new Pizza Paddle Die. Next, I die cut the little pizza toppings using the Pizza Die and colored them using Copics as well. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and glued the little toppings onto the paddle to make it a chopping block. I also tied a little twine into the little hole.

For the background I die cut the cheese using different colored card stock and inked around the edges for added dimension. I then glued the cheese at different angles to a piece of white card stock measured at 4" x 5 1/4" and trimmed off the excess. I think it turned out so cute! What do you think?

Simon says Stamp Stamptember and La-La Land Crafts

 Hi everyone! I had so much fun playing with the Stamptember release of this adorable limited edition Hippo Holidays La-La Land Crafts stamp set. If you haven't picked yours up hurry on over before it sells out! (Links below)

For my first card I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie using Copic markers. For the cards I  I went with non-traditional Christmas colors. For the background I blended the sky with Distress Oxide inks, and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I stamped the woodgrain background with gray ink for the frame. The frame was cut using the Build-a-Frame die. I did do partial diecutting technique on one side to customize it to fit an A2 sized cardbase. 

The snow was created using glittered cardstock and the Seaside Die. I finished the card by adhering it to a gray cardbase and embellishing with snowflake sequins from my stash.

For my second card I also created a night sky ink blended background using Distress Oxide Inks. I am still building up my stash of La-La Land Crafts Dies and had to improvise with the trees. These trees were cut using the Sandcastle Die! There are lots of amazing tree dies in the La-La Land Crafts shop to choose from and I have several on my wishlist.

La-La Land Crafts September Release Day 2

I first stamped, embossed and colored these monkeys using Copic markers. To create the frame I used the new Inverted Scallops Rectangle Dies, I stamped and embossed the sentiment. The background was created using ink blending and metallic gold splatter. I also die cut the branches and inked them with Distress Inks.

La-La Land Crafts September Release- Day 1

 Hi everyone! It's release week at La-La Land Crafts and we will be sharing inspiration all week long over on the blog. Today I made a card featuring the new Golfer Luka image and the Putting Green Die.  (The products I used are linked below) 

I colored up the adorable Luka using Copic markers. I tried to keep the design simple and masculine. I inked the background using the cloud stencil and stamped and embossed the sentiment from the new Tee-rific Clear Stamp set. To create the grass and putting green I cut them out and inked them using my mini Distress Inks. I colored the flag and added some splatter and my card was finished!

Happy Halloween Kitty

Hi crafty friends! Today I am over on the Newton's Nook blog sharing some Halloween inspiration featuring the new and adorable Trick or Treat Kittens stamps and dies. Colors and links to the products are below. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up this image using Copic markers. I cut it our using the coordinating dies. The bats and the moon are cut using the coordinating dies from the new Brooms and Boos stamp set. How perfect are these to just get the outlines paired with glittered cardstock?!

 The purple background was ink blended using Distress Inks and cut out using the Frames & Flags Die set. I added some silver metallic splatter and also layered the die cut with some silver glittered cardstock. This was adhered to a black A2 sized card base and now it is ready to give away :)
