Hi everyone! I had so much fun playing with the Stamptember release of this adorable limited edition Hippo Holidays La-La Land Crafts stamp set. If you haven't picked yours up hurry on over before it sells out! (Links below)
For my first card I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie using Copic markers. For the cards I I went with non-traditional Christmas colors. For the background I blended the sky with Distress Oxide inks, and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I stamped the woodgrain background with gray ink for the frame. The frame was cut using the Build-a-Frame die. I did do partial diecutting technique on one side to customize it to fit an A2 sized cardbase.
The snow was created using glittered cardstock and the Seaside Die. I finished the card by adhering it to a gray cardbase and embellishing with snowflake sequins from my stash.
For my second card I also created a night sky ink blended background using Distress Oxide Inks. I am still building up my stash of La-La Land Crafts Dies and had to improvise with the trees. These trees were cut using the Sandcastle Die! There are lots of amazing tree dies in the La-La Land Crafts shop to choose from and I have several on my wishlist.
