Sneak Peek Week for Craftin Desert Divas- Days 4,5 & 6

This week is sneak peeks for the Craftin Desert Divas stamp and die release. We
are doing our sneak peeks on facebook and you can join us HERE. Today is our last day of sneak peeks and then we will have our blog hop Thursday & Friday! I can't wait for you to see the stamps and dies!! Here are projects I made for 3 days of sneak peeks!

Day 4 we showcased the Thankful Squeaks stamps. I adore these sweet images!!
I made a Fall themed card!

This little mouse just has the sweetest little face!! I went through all my oranges and brown cardstock and picked papers that I thought would coordinate with my kraft card base. The layers are all cut with my Cricut. The pumpkin cut is from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge. The scallop is from the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art Cartridge. I found this beautiful Fall colored ribbon at JoAnns and thought it would make a beautiful bow for my card.

I decided to add a strip of burlap to place under my sentiment banner that I cut out by hand.

On the inside I used the Fancy Frame dies for the scalloped layer and colored up a pumpkin from the new Boo stamps.

Yesterday, Day 5 we showcase one of the new Die sets called Mix It Up Dies. I made a shaker card:

I just had to use these amazing dies to make my shaker frame. The stitched speech bubble is so fun to use too!!.

I had to use this bat cutie and sentiment from the new Fright Night stamps. I filled my shaker card with the new Hocus Pocus sequins. I embossed some purple cardstock to make the sequins pop. The sparkly black ribbon added the final touch.

I colored up the bat and the shaker background with my Spectrum Noir markers.

For today, Day 6 of the sneak peeks, we are showcasing the second set of dies designed by my sweet friend and design team sister Leah Schaeffer. This set is called Pocket Pieces HI dies. There are so many goodies in this set I can hardly wait to use them all!! I made this little card:

I just had to use these two cuties from the Hallo-scream stamps I stamped and clear embossed the images and sentiments. I colored the images up with my Spectrum Noir and some purple Copics that I just bought. I needed more purples so I decided to try using Copics with the markers I have and they work well together! These little dies make a stitched polaroid as easy as can be! I love the little chevron and arrow die too!

The banner is from the Mix It Up dies and I scored some lines in it to make it pop up. The papers are all from  DCWV Halloween stacks I bought last year.

Here is a close up of these cuties and I hope you can see how sparkly her dress is.

And last is the inside where I stamped and colored this skull and used the Fancy Frame Dies for the layers.

Thank you so much for hoppin by!! I hope you can join us for our blog hop tomorrow and Friday. Tara is giving away 2 -$25 credits to the shop for those who hop along !!

Have a blessed day!!

Sneak Peek Week for Craftin Desert Divas Day 2 & 3

This week is sneak peeks for the Craftin Desert Divas stamp and die release. We are doing our sneak peeks on facebook and you can join us HERE. Yesterday we were showcasing the Fright Night set and I made this kitty card.

I thought how fun to make him peeking around the pumpkins. I colored it all with my Spectrum Noir markers. I hand drew and colored the moon and went over it with my Wink Of Stella. I added glossy accents to the bat and the cat's eyes. I stamped the sentiment on the cloud die from The Sky Is The Limit set. Finally I added some sparkly stars with Stickles.

Today we are featuring the Hallo-scream stamps. I wanted to use this Frankenstein pumpkin and I thought I would make a porch to put him on. The door is from my Cricut A Frightful Affair cartridge.

I used my Cuttlebug brick folder to make the outside of the house. I designed the steps and colored them with my Spectrum Noirs to try and make a 3D effect. I stamped and embossed both the pumpkins, the ghost and the sentiment with clear embossing powder,

I used vellum for the ghost and the spiderweb is cut from my Cricut.

I hope you like my cards!! Thanks so much for hoppin by!

Have a blessed day!!

Craftin Desert Divas Release Sneak Peek Day 1- BOO!

Hello friends! Today is day 1 of the Craftin Desert Divas September release sneak peeks on Facebook. You can join us on the CDD page HERE and see the wonderful projects and also get a free SVG file!!

For my project I decided to make a shaped card using the stamp svg that coordinates with this new set called "BOO".  I designed this in Design Space with my Cricut Explore.

I think it turned out to be a fun card! I wasn't sure what it would look like at first but once I stamped the webs and embossed them with holographic embossing powder, I loved the way it looked!

I colored up my ghost and spiders with my Spectrum Noir markers and added glossy accents to their eyes. I embossed the Boo! sentiment and put it on a handcut banner. The oval in the center is from the Banner Dies and the scallop layer I cut with my Cricut.

For the inside I used a sentiment and the bats from the Ghostly Greetings stamp set. The Happy Halloween is from the Happy Celebrations set. I glittered up the bats with my Wink of Stella and that is it!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you can join us for all the sneak peeks on facebook and our blog hop will begin 10/1!

Have a blessed day!

Here is what I made..

I used one of my favorite color combination: purple, blue & silver and wanted to create a winter themed card. For the background paper: First I water colored it using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pens to get a soft and dreamy background. Next I stamped the snowflakes from the Get Your Jingle stamps in silver ink and embossed them with a sparkly embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment in black and clear embossed it to give it a shine. I  then used some sparkly Stickles to make some additional snow.

The snowman was colored with my Spectrum Noir markers and glittered up with some clear Wink of Stella.

The inside and outside layers I used the Fancy Frame Dies. I added a layer of silver metallic paper by Creative Memories from my stash. The sentiment is from the Get your Jingle On stamps and I glittered up these snowflakes with Wink of Stella too!

Here are all the CDD products I used:

Beary Thankful Fall Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I am on the Craftin Desert Divas blog to share a project and a craft tip. Have you ever stamped with the back of your stamp? This may be new to some of you. On my card today I did just that with the leaves and used multicolored ink to get a different look. I made a video of my card to show you how I did it! I hope you enjoy it!

I used the Kaleidacolor Tomato Vine ink to give it that ombre' look. I then heat embossed all the outline stamps with clear embossing powder.

I colored it all up with my Spectrum Noir markers and embellished with the
Corn Maze Sequin mix.

Of course I had to use this adorable sentiment on the inside as well as the Fancy Frame Dies for the layers.

Here are the products I used and you can find all of these
and more at the Craftin Desert Divas shop!

Diva Dual with the Coffee Cup Mouse

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am posting on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog with my friend Holly from Holly Waller Inspirations. We are doing a Diva Dual where we both pick an image and we challenge eachother to make something with it. For today's project we chose the little mouse and coffee cup from the Got Coffee stamp set. This is my favorite image. It is just the cutest!!

 Here is what I made:

I made a shaker card using my Cricut George cartridge for the voice bubble shape. The paper is from a Christmas paper stack by Pink Paislee and I chose these teals and golden browns. I love that combo!! The layers were cut using the Fancy Frame Dies. I stamped the coffee cup with the Smile sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set. I colored up the image using my Spectrum Noir markers and added that bow using some polka dot ribbon from American Crafts. I stamped my shaker with this fun sentiment and filled it with a mix of the Autumn Sequins and the Snow Palace sequins.

Here is a close up of this cutie pie mouse!

Here are the CDD products I used and you can find these and so much more

Here is what I made..

I used the Teenage Dream stamp set on kraft cardstock to make my background paper. I embossed the blue cardstock with a heart embossing folder.  I colored up a few of my favorite critters from the Deer Friends stamps. First I stamped the fox and masked him off. He looks sweet but sneaky like he would be the one to photobomb haha. Then I stamped the bunny and masked her off to have her in front of the bear. Then I colored them up with my Spectrum Noir markers.

I fussy cut the trio and made a polaroid with my Cricut CTMH Artbooking cartridge and I used the CDD stitched Outdoor Landscape Dies for the grass. Finally I stamped #photobomb and handcut the banner. I thought of my teen kids when making this card and how popular the hashtags are and how they are all consumed with these acronyms and their iphones.

I hope you liked my project and maybe you can join us this second week with a project for kids!

Have a blessed day!
