Beary Best Wishes Rilakkuma SVG

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am sharing a card I made for one of my daughter's friend's birthday. These teenagers are all crazy over Rilakkuma. We bought her a bunch of stuff from Amazon and the Japan store at the mall but of course there are no cards. So I decided to give it a try and make my own svg. 

The card size is 5"x7". I found these images and I'm so happy with how it turned out! His little arms up made me think he would be so cute holding balloons. And I made this head into a perfect gift tag. The balloons, clouds, sentiment and voice bubble are all from Craftin Desert Divas. 

I sprinkled the background with iridescent sequins and then doodled the balloons with my white gel pen. I cut the clouds out with glitter card stock. I added glossy accents to the eyes and nose. Finally I added the twine for the string.

For the inside I stamped the Happy Birthday and added a couple more balloons.

Here's what I've created for you...



I made a thank you card using this cutie pie wolf cub from the Chilly set. I colored him and the background with my Spectrum Noir markers. I used the colorless blender to give a cloudy effect. I cut him out using the new Stitched In Circle Dies. 



I used some sparkly background cardstock and used my Cuttlebug to emboss using the Swiss Dots folder.  The "thanks" is from the new In Line Dies and I cut it out 3 times to add thickness and the red glittery heart. 

I added some metallic silver and flocking powder to his cap for some texture. I cut a few  layers using the Outdoor Landscape dies and I also sprinkled them with Flower Soft for the snow. 

I was going for clean and simple with some dimension.

Craftin Desert Divas Blog Hop Day 1

Here's what I've created for you...

I used these cuties from the Polar Pals and colored them up with my Spectrum Noir markers. I used the new Stitched In Circles for the scalloped circle and to make the wreath. The background layer is from the Fancy Frame Dies. I also used the rectangle die from the Pocket Pieces Hi Dies. The music paper is printed from my Cricut Explore. 

I used the free mini banner to cut the red glitter cardstock and added the holly leaf from the Tis The Season stamps. I used glossy accents on the berries.

I added some red flower rhinestones on the wreath and cut out the bow using the Party Dies.

For the inside I used the Fancy Frame Dies for the layers, and a sentiment and music notes from the new Rudy stamps.

Craftin Desert Diva's New Release Sneak peeks Day 4

Here is what I made...

I made a shaker card using my Fuse tool. I chose this pretty and sparkly snowflake card stock and cut it with the new In Line Dies. I filled my shaker up with the CDD Silver & Gold Sequins.  

 I cut the top note die layers with my Cricut and stamped & embossed the sentiment in gold. I cut some glittery snowflakes with my Cricut and topped them with these mini jingle bells. I wish you could see just how sparkly this card is. It was very hard to photograph.

Craftin Desert Divas Sneak Peek Day 3- Polar Pals

Here is what I made...

I chose these adorable sledding animals. I inked my background with blue and lavender Memento dye inks and got a lovely background of my favorite colors. I colored these cuties with my Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut them out. The stitched voice bubble is from the Mix It Up Die set. I used Flower soft for the snow and sprinkled the background with iridescent sequins and Stickles.

I doodled some swirls with a silver pen and went over them with the Stickles. Finally I added a shimmery purple ribbon and bow. I hope you like it!

Craftin Desert Divas Sneak Peek Day 2 -Christmas tags

Today we are sneak peeking new stamps called Chilly and a new die set called Stitched In Circles. Here is what I made...

I made a couple ornament tags. I wanted to make more but it has been one of those weeks with crafting mishaps. So I was able to complete 2 and here they are. I use the new circle dies for the ornament base. I used my Cricut to cut out the top silver piece. I stamped and embossed my images. I added some ribbon and branches from my Martha Stewart punch.

This little guy was colored up with my new Copic markers. Very different from the Spectrum Noirs so probably not my best work but not too bad for my first time with Copics. I will need more practice for sure. Remember my crafting mishaps I mentioned?? Well he is supposed to be a walrus. Somehow during my stamping I didn't get the tusks..... so I decided to make a seal instead, haha! I added sequins and Stickles for the snow. I cut the banner with my Cricut and stamped this adorable sentiment that comes with this set. 

My next tag is using this little polar bear! I LOVE him or her! I used some Flower Soft and Stickles for the snow. The sentiment is from the Chill Out stamp set.

Craftin Desert Divas October Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello my crafty friends! Today on Facebook we are sharing our sneak peeks for the new stamp & die release. You can join us here https://www.facebook.com/CraftinDesertDivas

For Day 1 we are showcasing the Rudy stamps and the In Line Dies. 

Here is what I made:

I used this sweet little Christmas Caroling reindeer. I colored it up with my Spectrum Noirs. I used the Fancy Frame dies and some light blue chalk inks and made the background. I stamped and embossed the snowflakes from the Get Your Jingle On Stamps with sparkly embossing powder.  The I used the large stitched voice bubble die from the new In Line Dies set for the top and bottom layers. I put those layers through the Fancy Frame dies to line them up. The sentiment and music notes are stamped, embossed and have Glossy Accents over it.

I cut the glittery snowflakes out with my Cricut. I also used my Martha Stewart branch punch. I layered them and added some silver jingle bells with silver cord.

Count Your Blessings

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am on the Craftin Desert Divas blog with my friend Holly for a "Two For Tuesday" post. We both made projects showcasing the same stamp image. We chose to use this cute little bear with pumpkin from the CDD Hey Pumpkin set.

Here's what I made...

I made a fall shaker card. First I cut a scallop frame with my Cricut and welded the bear svg outline to it.  For the bottom layer I watercolored with my Zig markers and used Autumn colors.

 I stamped and colored to make my own background paper using the leaves and acorn from the Autumn Wishes set. I stamped and embossed all the images first and colored them up with my Spectrum Noir markers.

 The shaker is filled with the Autumn sequins. Finally I added a sparkly burlap bow.
