Hi crafty friends! Did you see that Newton's Nook Designs is having a retiring sale on their website? It's time to make room for new products so they are retiring select designs! These designs are available at up to 40% off while supplies last so hurry to get your favorites before they're gone for good!

All week the NND Design Team will be sharing inspiration using some of their favorite products from our retiring list! Check out what I created today and don't forget to check the NND Blog each day this week for more fun inspiration!

I used the Neigh Stamps and Dies to create an A7 sized card. This stamp set is sooooo cute and I'm sad it will be retiring. I stamped and colored all the images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. For the background I used the A7 Frames & Banners Die. Using Distress Inks and the Cloud Stencil I created the sky and grassy meadow scenery. I cut out the scallop layer using patterned paper from my stash.

I framed the scalloped layer with pale pink cardstock and stamped and embossed the sentiments. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

Don't forget to visit the Retiring Products Category to see what is going away and grab your favorites before they are gone for good!

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and we are sharing cards with the theme: Motherhood/Baby.
Here is what I created:

I used the Owl Builder Die to create a mama and baby owl. To create the owls I used the Double Stitched Egg Dies for the bodies. For face I used the Double Stitched Circles and the ears from the Deer Builder Dies. I embellished the die cuts with some brown Copic markers to add a little detail.

The branch was created using the Tree Die. I used the leaves and flowers from the Large Birdhouse Die. I used some Nuvo drops to add the centers of the flowers. The sentiment is from the Honey Bear stamps and the MOM was created using the letters from the Linked Square Die. I cut the scalloped rectangle from the Spring Is Sprung paper pack and added an additional layer using the Wood Planks Background Stamp.

I hope you like my card. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day :)

Newton's Nook Designs Orchid Birthday Card

Hi crafty friends! Today I created a card for the Newton's Nook Designs' blog featuring the gorgeous Orchid stamp and die set from the latest release. I always need more birthday cards and decided to create one for today. All the products I used are listed below.

I stamped and colored up the image using Copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die. To create the background I lightly ink blended using purple Distress Inks and added some splatter in purples and gold. The background die is from the Framework Die Set.

I chose a sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms stamps and embossed it on the top of the panel. I decided to add a bit more color by framing the layer with a lavender card stock. For a  finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you like my card. Have a great day :)

La-La Land Inspiration Monday Critter Builder Dies

Hello crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Craft's blog and we are all making projects using the Critter Builder Dies. I chose to make a card featuring the Bear Builder Dies. You can find all the links to the products I used below.

To create the bear I used the Double Stitched Dome die for the head. I added the little face and ears and cut an extra pair of ears for the paws. I rounded the corners with some scissors. For the inside of the ears I used the little pompom die that goes with the hat. I decided to have the bear peeking behind a sign. To create the sign I cut out the Nested Frame die using patterned papers from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pack. To decorate the sign I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added some floral die cuts from the Large Birdhouse Die set.

For the background I used the starry woodgrain patterned paper from the same paper pack. Finally for a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.

I hope you like my card! Have a great day :)

Hi crafty friends! The Newton's Nook Designs Team is hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats - just in time for Valentine's day! Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!

Here is what I created:

I created a couple treat bag toppers for some yummy Hershey's chocolates. To create the topper I cut out the scalloped rectangle from the Framework Die set and folded it in half. For the handle I cut out the frame from the Snow Globe Shaker Die and trimmed off the bottom. Next I cut 2 slits in the fold of the rectangle, tucked in the handle, and glued it inside. It turned out so cute!

To decorate the topper I colored up the adorable robots from the Love Bots Stamps. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. The heart is from the Heart Frame Die set and the patterned paper from the Love & Meows Paper Pad.

Finally I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut them using the smallest banner die from the A7 Frames & Banners. These were quick and easy and so fun to make!!

Spellbinders Classically Becca Collection

Hi crafty friends! Today I have some cards to share featuring some gorgeous dies from the new Spellbinders Classically Becca collection. I used the A2 Filigree Marquis Dies and the Adoring Fleurette Card Builder Dies.

For the first card I ink blended the background using Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide Inks. I inked the flower dies as well to coordinate with the background. I kept the design simple and framed the sentiment from the Sweet Sayings Notecard sentiment dies. The sentiment was cut using the Mirror Gold cardstock. For a finishing touch I added some pink sparkly gems.

For my second card I only cut out the filigree corners. This gives it a cleaner look especially with the white on white. The flowers were cut using glittered cardstock. Again I framed the sentiment die with the little flowers and added pearls to the centers.

The hello sentiment is also from the Sweet Sayings Notecard sentiment dies.

My next card is a slimline using the Adoring Fleurette Card Builder Dies. I used spring colors to create a beautiful floral frame.

I embossed the center using the Slimline Flora Embossing Folder. I think it turned out so pretty!!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you like my cards. The products I used are all linked below. Have a great day :)
