Stitch Halloween Loaded Envelope/Bag Swap Project

Hello friends! Today I am sharing a Stitch Halloween loaded envelope/bag that I made for a swap.

My person that I was assigned to make a swap for is a big Stitch fan.  I decided to create another Stitch cut and make him a wizard to go with the Stitch Planner Clips I made.
Here is a video with a lot of details of how I made this and I also show what I put inside!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Butterflies Mini Note Card Gift Set

Hello everyone! Today I am also posting on the Jaded Blossom blog and I have a Mini Note Card Gift Set to share featuring the Butterflies stamp set.

I made this tag using the Treat Tag Dies and the flowers are from the Flower Dies. I stamped and colored the butterfly on vellum. I created this little crate box in Cricut Design Space as a holder for my note cards. Here is a process video where I go over each step of making this gift set:

I used the Card Mat Dies and sentiments from the fabulous Simple Sayings stamps. I also used the Envelope Dies and stamped them using the triple stamp technique to add a simple but elegant touch.

I stamped, embossed and colored the butterflies with my Copics.  Of course I added lots of sparkle!

I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiments. I ran the white panel through my Cuttlebug using the Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder. I love the teal and yellows combo!

For extra fun I also added a pen with butterflies and a planner clip that I created using the Spring Dies 2 set.

Here is a list with links of all the JB goodies I used to create this gift set:

Thank you all so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

Smaug Happy Birthday Card

Hello friends! Today is my hubby's birthday and I made
a special card for him....

We are big fans of The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings. I am so happy that I found this adorable Smaug image on google. I wish I knew the artist to give credit because I am in love with it! I made it into an svg to make hubby this card. I am getting better at making my own svg's using Make The Cut software. I wasn't sure if it was still supported but I emailed the company and they promised they would be doing more updates so I purchased it.  This svg turned out terrific! I love that I can make any themed card I choose for my family and friends!  I made it pretty big, sized at 5.5"x 7.5". I like to make my birthday cards big like the store bought ones so they don't disappear and look so tiny next to them when displayed, LOL!

I wish the pics did this justice.... I love the gold shimmery foil background that reminds me of dragon scales. I love the gold glittery paper for the heart and the sparkly Arkenstone (The Heart of the Mountain). I used a blue metallic pen to outline the stone for added dimension and then topped it off with iridescent Stickles. I added the gold coins for effect. I think they were from Create A Critter. I drew on the sparkly spots using an orange glittery gel pen. They would have been way too tiny to cut out. Its sparkly and shimmery yet still masculine! The label is from the Fabulous Finds cartridge and I wrote out the sentiment since I didn't have a stamp (I should have typed it out, I hate my writing, lol!)

I distressed the inside panel to match the label on the front. I used Jaded Blossom So Many Birthdays 2 for the inside sentiment. He loved his card and said it was the best one I've made, yay!

Thank you so much for hopping by!
I hope you have a blessed day!

Grand Piano Shaped Card

Hello my crafty friends!! It seems like forever that I've been able to do a blog post. It is that time of year again for music shows and this time I was director! This past month I put together a promotional concert with 4 bands for the Commercial Music Department at the college I teach at. It was so much fun and SO much work but I am hopeful that it will pay off. The Arts are getting lost in the schools with so many cutbacks and it was my goal to remind the student's and the community of all the wonderful courses we have to offer. Two and a half more weeks of classes, final recitals and 1 more performance and it will be summer break for me! Yay!

Today I am sharing a card I designed for my accompanist's birthday. I've seen a bunch of piano cards covered in flowers on Pinterest... I wanted to create a masculine version. I couldn't find an SVG so I decided to design my own in Design Space.

The card stands 6 inches tall and is about 5 inches wide. The "celebrate" is a die from My Creative Time and I did a double layer using silver cardstock and glittery gold. The leaves are from my Cricut Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I cut them both out using vellum but when I glued them down the glue was too obvious so I added a layer of metallic silver Wink of Luna and then a layer of clear Wink of Stella.

I couldn't resist adding the Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. In the end I think the design is suitable for both male and female. The card opens up and I did add a white layer of cardstock to stamp my sentiment and write my message. I am happy with how this turned out and plan on making a few more... maybe in different colors and maybe use some flowers next time.

Thank you so much for hopping by! I hope to get back to my usual craftiness once all my end of the semester duties are over :)

I will participate in the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday- Anything Goes
DL ART- May Linky Party
PDE Linky Party- Anything Goes

Have a blessed day!
