Bouquet of Happiness

 Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a video to share featuring a couple of cards I created using the Not 2 Shabby Shop  Bouquet of Happiness stamps.

For my first card I made a slim line card base 3 1/2" x 7 1/4" and combined the Pug In A Cup stamp using masking to create a little scene. I adore this image so much. I stamped, embossed and colored up the images using Zig clean Color Real Brush markers. 

I used a stencil from La-La Land Crafts and Distress Oxide inks to create the brick wall. I think it turned out so cute!!

For my second card I stamped and embossed the floral image all across the front of my mini slim line card panel. I then inked it up using my Distress Inks.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and popped it up onto foam tape. And for a finishing touch I added some gems from Pink Fresh Studios.

La-La Land Crafts February Club Product Kit

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be guest designing for La-La Land Crafts using an amazing new subscription kit ! I created two cards using the Club La-La Land Crafts February 2021 Club Product Kit to share with you today! The kits are a monthly subscription and are a great value! This month's kit is 50s Retro-themed.  There are three ways you can subscribe: the Product Kit which includes both the rubber stamps and a set of exclusive Dies, the Stamp Kit which includes just the stamps OR the Dies Only Kit. For my first card I colored up the adorable Retro Marci and the skating poodle from the Good Times stamp set using Copic markers. I also cut out the Jukebox Die and colored it using Copics as well. For the background I used the brick stencil from the On the Wall Layering Stencil set. 

To create the tile I used the checker stencil from the Everything Is Rosy Layering stencil set , distress inks and clear embossing powder to heat emboss and give it a shiny coat with dimension.

 For my second card I wanted to feature the two other club kit dies. How cute is that little box of french fries?!! The milkshake is also so fun to color and put together. 

I also used the patterned papers from the Love You More 6x6" paper. I created the tiled table top using the Large Stitched Tag Dies.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 4

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the last day of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release. We have 2 stamps and coordinating dies: Newton's Rainy Day Trio and Daffodils.

Here is what I created.

For my first card I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable Newton's Rainy Day Trio under the umbrella using Copic markers. I also embellished with a white gel pen and sparkle marker and cut the image out using the coordinating die.  

I had fun creating this water colored background using some Distress Inks. I stamped and embossed the sentiments and added some rain using the white gel pen. I created the frame using two of dies from the Frameworks Die Set. 

Finally I embellished with some iridescent sequins. 

For my second card I stamped, embossed and colored up the beautiful florals and butterfly from the new Daffodils Stamp set and cut it out using the coordinating die. I also used the sweet little bunny from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set. For the background I dry embossed the card layers with the Basketweave Stencil. I cut the white layer using the Circle Frames Die set.  

I used the sentiment from the new Spring Roundabout Stamp set and cut it out using the Banner Trio Die set.  I embellished with some iridescent sequins.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 3

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the Day 3 reveal for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release! We have one new stamp set and coordinating die called Baa. 

Here is what I created.

I created a Spring themed slim line card. I stamped, embossed and colored up these cutie pie images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. The butterflies are from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set. 

For the card layers I used the Slimline Frames & Window Dies as well as the scalloped layer from the Slimline Frames & Porthole Dies.  I inked the background using the Slimline Masking Circles and Squares Stencil Set. I cut the patterned paper using the scalloped layer die and framed it with a rectangle layer in pink card stock. 

This card can be used for a baby shower or an Easter card or birthday or many other occasions.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 2

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the Day 2 reveal for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release. Today we have 2 new stamp sets and coordinating dies: Hoppy Greetings and Hare Mail. 

Here's what I created.

For my first card stamped, embossed and colored the adorable new image from Hoppy Greetings stamp set using Copic markers.  Using the new Basketweave stencil I dry embossed my card panel for some texture. I just love the way this new stencil!! 

To add some more color I used some fun Spring patterned papers from Doodlebug Designs and embellished with some iridescent sequins.

For my second card I stamped and embossed the post mark with white embossing powder across the heart from the Heart Frames Die set. I inked the background using Distres Inks. I used the new Bunny Tails stencil to dry emboss the bunny onto my card layer. Using the second stencil I added the tails with some sparkly Nuvo Glimmer Paste. I just love that background!!

I stamped, embossed and colored the adorable bunny in the envelope with Copic markers and finally added the stamped and embossed sentiment.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 1

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share the Day 1 reveal for the Newton's Nook Design's February Release. Today we have the new Spring Roundabout Stamp set that coordinates with the Circle Frames Die Set and the Banner Trio Dies as well as the Basketweave Stencil and the Bunny Tails 2 piece Stencil Set. 

 Here is what I made:

I created an Easter card and tag set. First I stamped and embossed the Spring Roundabout stamp using white embossing powder to create the backgrounds. I ink blended them using Distress Inks in Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio. Next I dry embossed the new Basketweave stencil to create the basket textured backgrounds on white cardstock for both the card and the tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die set. I stamped and embossed the sentiments and cut them out with the Banner Trio Die. I cut four banners and used a partial diecutting technique in order to shorten the banners on the tag and then layered them over each other. 

I cut a circle out of the Basketweave stencil dry embossed panel and I also created a frame using the Circle Frames Die set to frame the stamped and inked background. I added the adorable bunny from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set and some iridescent sequins to complete my card.

Espresso Your Love

Hi crafty friends! Today I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog sharing a fun coffee themed Valentine's Day card!!

I just adore this new Newton's Mug stamp set and I added some hearts to the mug from the Smitten Kittens and Love Emergency stamp sets. I colored the image using stamped and embossed image  using Copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating Newton's Mug Die. I love how it cuts out the space in the handle! I added lots of sparkle to the hearts.

 For the background I used the largest die from the Framework Die set, Bristol Smooth cardstock and some Distress inks in Fired Brick, Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. I blended them with an ombre' effect and stenciled some hearts using the Tumbling Hearts Stencil. The stamped and embossed sentiment is from the Love Cafe' stamps.  I splattered the background using water and some gold sparkly shimmer and adhered some iridescent sequins.

Newton's Nook Designs Sweet Treats Blog Hop

Using the Heart Frames Die Set  and the Smitten Kitten stamps I created some Valentine Cards with a treat pocket on the front.

 For the first card I used the sentiments from the Heartfelt Love stamps to create an embossed background that I ink blended using red distress inks. (Fired Brick Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick) I stamped and embossed the XOXO in gold onto a banner from the Banner Trio Die Set. I also created three more cards coloring up the kitties using a variety of colors! You can find the Copic colors and products I used below.
