La-la Land Crafts July 2022 Release Day 3

Hi crafty friends! It is Day 3 of the La-La Land Crafts release and I have a card to share featuring the new Luka with Ice Cream stamp. All the supplies and colors I used are listed below.

I colored the image using Copic markers and fussy cut him out. I stamped and embossed the background from the new Best of Times Clear Stamp Set and ink blended the sky using Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped, embossed and diecut the tickets and glued them along the bottom of the panel. The patterned paper is from the new At the Carnival Paper Pack.

La-La Land Crafts July 2022 Release Day 2

Hi crafty friends! It is Day 2 of the La-La Land Crafts release and I have a card to share featuring the new Marci with Unicorn Plushy. All the supplies and colors I used are listed below.

I colored the image using Copic markers and fussy cut her out. To create the background I stamped and embossed the carousel and ferris wheel from the new Best of Times stamps. I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend a sunset sky. The used an A6 size card base and the patterned paper is from the new At the Carnival Paper Pack. I stamped, embossed and die cut the tickets as an embellishment and added sparkle to the unicorn horn for a final touch.

La-La Land Crafts July 2022 Release Day 1

Hi crafty friends! It is time for another release at La-La Land Crafts. I created a card featuring the new Enjoy the Ride Clear Stamp set. You can find the supplies and the colors I used along below.

I stamped and colored this adorable image using Copic markers. I cut two layers out of the new Carnival Paper Pack and framed them on my A6 sized card base. To create the backdrop for the little ducky I used the new stencil and Distress Oxide inks and cut out a hexagon shaped panel. I then cut out a white frame to make it pop over the patterned paper. The sentiment strips were cut using the new Scalloped Sentiment Strips die and the sentiment is from the new Best Day Ever stamps.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! It is Inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and this week's theme is COFFEE! I used the adorable Tweet Tweet clear stamps for my card. All the supplies and colors I used are linked below. I hope you like it :)

I stamped and colored this cutie using Copic markers. To create the sky background I inked the Summer Is Here Stencil using Distress Oxide Inks. I used some patterned papers and cut out a window. I love the Coffee Beans Heart Die and decided to use it in the background. I also cut out and colored the branch for the bird to perch and added a sentiment strip. For a finishing touch I embellished with the coffee beans.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! It is time for Inspiration Monday with La-La Land Crafts and the theme this week is Christmas! I love crafting with non traditional colors and chose this plaid patterned paper in blues and grays to design my card around. You can find the links to all the products I used as well as the Copic colors below :)

First I colored up the adorable bear from the Bear Hugs stamp. I die cut the houses out of white cardstock and the trim and snow using some white glittered cardstock. To create the sky I used Distress Oxide inks. 

I layered everything across an A6 sized card base and added some snow using acrylic white paint. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added some sparkly gems for a finishing touch.

Alcohol Inks and La-La Land Crafts Lotus Die Cards

 

Hi crafty friends! Today I am have a tutorial sharing a fun way to dress up your die cuts and give them a huge wow factor! Products and supplies used are listed and linked below.

Here is a tutorial of how I created my cards:

Apply your choice of alcohol inks onto Yupo paper. I added the inks in drops and mixed with alcohol ink blender solution and used a blowing tool to help it spread.

I let the ink dry until it was tacky (about 3-4 minutes) and applied the foil by rubbing it over and carefully pulling back. The foil will stick wherever the alcohol ink is still tacky.

I used gold foil for the pink background and silver for the blue/purple.

Next die cut out the Lotus die in both white card stock and the alcohol ink panels. Glue the white frame over the alcohol inked die cut. To help keep the layers inside the petals, add some tape to the back of the die cut.

To create the background layer, use coordinating inks and the "smoosh" technique. First die cut the largest rectangle using a water friendly paper. Add the inks by smooshing small amounts to your craft mat. Next spray the inks with water and smoosh the white card stock over the watered down inks to create a nice water colored background. Allow the panels to dry and then stamp and heat emboss the sentiment towards the top. 

Glue the stitched rectangle over the scalloped rectangle and then glue to the layer to the card base. Pop up the Lotus die using double sided adhesive foam and center it onto the panel.

For a finishing touch add some bling or pearls. Which do you like better? The blue/purples or the pinks??

Father's Day Bookmarks

Hello crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and we are sharing more projects featuring the new release. I decided to create a project featuring the new Tie Die. The supplies I used are listed and linked below :)

Just in time for Father's Day, I created a batch of bookmarks. These came together sooooo easy using the Bookmark Die. I cut two ties each either in patterned paper or colored cardstock. I trimmed the top and glued it to double up the top of the tie to add an extra layer for dimension. I glued the ties to the tops of the bookmarks about a half inch from the top. For the collar, I cut two more ties in the card stock I used for the bookmarks. I trimmed the bottom points off and discarded them. I then adhered the trimmed ties to the colored ties at an angle and trimmed off the excess that was hanging over the edges of the bookmark. Easy peasy!! I chose a selection of patterned papers and colored cardstocks to represent realistic shirts and mixed and matched them. 

I found coordinating ribbon in my stash and stamped and embossed the sentiments. I hope you like my project today and are inspired to try making some bookmarks of your own! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day :)

La-La Land Crafts May Release- Turtely Awesome

Hi crafty friends! It is release week at La-La Land Crafts and I am sharing a card featuring the Turtely Awesome Clear Stamp Set. I listed the colors I used and the supplies are listed and linked below.

I colored up the adorable images using Copic markers and fussy cut them out. To create the background I ink blended some cardstock with Distress Oxide inks and cut out the strips using the Seaside Die. I arranged the layers leaving white space between and glued them down. I glued the layer to an A6 sized card base and popped up the images with double sided foam tape. I also inked the sun using Distress Inks and stamped the sentiment onto the cloud die.

La-La Land Crafts May Release- Graduation Marci

Hi crafty friends! It is release week over at La-La Land Crafts and today I have a card to share featuring the new Graduation Marci Rubber Stamp. I listed all the colors and the supplies are listed and linked below. 

I love how this A6 sized card turned out!  First I colored the image using Copic markers and fussy cut her out. I ink blended a purple ombre' background using Distress Inks. Next I used Deco Foil Transfer Gel with the Rain and Shine Stencil and hot foiled the background layer using holographic gold foil. There was a bit of overfoiling but in person it looks super sparkly!! I added a scalloped die cut layer of gold star paper from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pack. I also ink blended some cardstock with the same inks and die cut the Celebrate word out. I added the background shadow layer in vellum to help the sentiment die stand out more. It's hard to see in the pic but I also added sparkle marker to the word.

La-La Land Crafts May Release- Nailed It Stamps

Hi crafty friends! It is release week at La-La Land Crafts and today I have a card showcasing the new Nailed It Clear Stamp Set, Toolbox Die and Tools Die. This stamp set is perfect for your "Dad" themed cards! I listed the colors and the supplies are all linked below.

I created a slimline 3.5"x 8.5" card. First I cut a panel slightly less than the card base and used the Inverted Scallops Square Die to cut out the three openings. I used the patterned paper to back the windows and stamped and embossed the sentiment in the middle. I colored the image using Copic markers.

The tools are soooo cool! It's hard to see in the pic but I cut them out using silver and red metallic cardstock.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

I created a simple design featuring the adorable Hippo Birdie Clear stamps. I stamped and colored the image using Copic markers and fussy cut him out, To create the background I used the Magical Forest Paper Pack that coordinated well with the image. I cut out the layers using the Double Stitched Rectangles and the Scalloped Rectangles Die. It's hard to see in the photo but I also added a layer of metallic silver cardstock.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! I have a card to share for La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday and this week's theme is: Flowers

I decided to feature the floral In Bloom stamps for my card. All the supplies I used are listed and linked below :)

I stamped two white A6 sized card stock panels with Versamark and heat embossed them using white embossing powder. I ink blended one of the panels with Distress Oxide inks and cut it down with the largest die from the Scalloped Rectangles set. I cut another rectangle slightly larger than the scalloped layer and heat embossed the edges using gold embossing powder. I glued the three layers to the front of my A6 sized card base. 

To decorate the front of the card I added the butterfly cut from gold metallic card stock and gold glittered card stock. I added an extra layer on the wings and popped it up. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the A Good Day stamps and fussy cut it out. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly clear gemstones.

La-La Land Crafts April Release

Hi crafty friends! It is release week at La-La Land crafts and I have created a card featuring the new In Bloom Clear Stamps, the Open Daisy Die and A Good Day Clear Stamps. All the products are available in the shop and the links to the supplies and the colors I used are listed below.

To create the background I stamped and heat embossed the large floral stamp with white embossing powder. I used Distress Oxide inks to create a bright and cheerful ombre of color. The adorable bear is from the A Good Day Stamps and I colored him and the bee using Copic markers. I also cut the Open Daisy Die out and colored it using Copic markers as well. To create the frame I used the Inverted Scallops Square Die and stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Honey Bear Clear Stamps. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

La-La Land Crafts April Release

Hi crafty friends! It is release week at La-La Land Crafts and we are sharing more inspiration using the new stamps and dies! I cut out three layers of the Forest die and inked and splattered them using Distress inks to create a tree frame. I stamped and colored the pointed ear squirrel using Copic markers. The little flowers are from the new Side Daisy Die. I inked the card base using blue Distress Oxide inks and glued the layers together.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday 3D

Hi crafty friends! Today is Monday Inspiration over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and the theme this week is "3D". I decided to create a treat box using the Large Bird House die.

I created a simple 1 inch deep box and attached the bird house panels to each side. I double layered the roof and base border using white and blue cardstock.The bird was stamped using various blue inks and cut out using the coordinating die. 

I created the handle using the Build-A-Frame Stitched Large Die and attached it using brads so the handle could swing to the side and you can fill the box with yummy treats or a gift card. The sentiment is from the Oh Crop stamp set.

Hi crafty friends! It is Inspiration Monday with La-La-Land Crafts and theme is: Planner/Organization. La-La Land Crafts has some great new stamps and dies for planning. I decided to create a card. The product links and colors I used are all listed below.

I created an A2 sized card base and cut out layers using patterned papers from the Note To Self and Life Documented Paper Packs. I stamped and colored the little mouse using Copic markers. The mouse is holding a Copic but I colored it to look like a pencil. I also cut a layer from the Notebook Pages Die and stamped it using the new Journal This stamp set.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday Green & Gold

Hello crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday on the La-La Land Crafts blog and we are sharing projects with the theme: Green & Gold. You can find a list of colors and the links to the products I used below. Here is what I created: 

I created an A6 sized card. The roses are from the Your Kindness stamps and I stamped and embossed them using gold embossing powder. I colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I found this patterned paper in the Merry & Bright Paper Pack and thought it would make the perfect backdrop for the sparkly roses. I used the Pierced Scalloped Circle Dies to stamp and emboss the coordinating sentiment. I framed the rectangle die cut with metallic gold cardstock to complete the look. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.
