Spellbinders Better Press Fall Themed Cards

Hello friends! I know it has been quite a while since my last post. Life has been a bit overwhelming and I've needed to step back from crafting to focus on family. My elderly parents who live an hour away, have needed me to help care for them and assist with their medical needs and transportation. It is a new season for sure and I'm doing the best I can to make sure they have everything they need. 

I was blessed and gifted the new Spellbinders Betterpress from a sweet friend. It is truly amazing and it is near impossible to show the detail in the photos. Please trust me when I say the impression is impressive in person! If I'm able to, I will try to get a video of my projects to show the impact of the Better Press. Spellbinders sent me some samples to play with and so I have created several cards that I will be sharing over the next couple days. Here are the Fall themed cards I created.

This first card I used Strathmore water color paper and the new Betterpress Autumn Floral Corner Press Plate. It is so pretty! I used the ink that came with the Betterpress. The indentation of the image and sentiment is fantastic! I've been wanting to try water coloring and think this first try came out pretty good. I tried my best to leave some white space which is not easy for me since I'm so used to coloring with Copic markers. I added some gold splatter and embellished with the Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems. I adhered the layer to an A2 top folding kraft card base.

For the second card, I used the new Betterpress Autumn Thanks Frame. I think my water coloring improved and I did a bit better with the white space. I also used the new Notched Corner Frames Dies to for the sentiment layer and frame. I used the Mirror Gold Cardstock to add that pop of gold.

I added gold splatter and adhered the panel to an A2 top folding kraft card base. I think this one is my favorite of the two and the impression of both the image and sentiment are so cool!

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Day 4

Hello friends! It is time for another fabulous release from Newton's Nook Designs! Today is Day 4 of the reveals and there are two new stamps with coordinating dies.

My first card features the new Harvest Haul stamps and coordinating dies. I stamped and colored the truck using Copic markers. I cut out a panel from the Frames & Flags Die Set and lightly inked it to create a background for the truck. 

I chose my favorite pattern from the new Autumn Paper Pad. For a finishing touch I added some gold bling and embellished with the leaves.

The second card I created features the new Newton's Crate stamps and coordinating dies. First I stamped and colored this adorable image using Copic markers. To create the background I used Distress Oxide inks and the new Jack-o'-lantern layering stencil minus the faces to create a Fall themed panel covered in pumpkins.

To help little Newton stand out I glued the stamped image to a circle die cut from the Circle Frames Die set and trimmed off the edge. Here is a look at the new products that I used:

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Day 3

Hello friends! It is time for another fabulous release from Newton's Nook Designs! Today is Day 3 of the reveals and we are featuring Fall projects with the new Autumn Paper Pad and Autumn Oval Stamp set. Here is what I created:

I stamped the image and heat embossed using gold embossing powder. I love how gold embossing looks!! I colored the pumpkin image using Copic markers. I love how the stamped ovals look with the Oval Frames Dies. To create the background layer I dry embossed the white layer using the Falling Leaves Stencil. It's hard to photograph but running a stencil through your die cut machine gives subtle texture and looks fabulous!

The new Autumn paper pad is gorgeous! I picked out a gingham pattern to add a strip on the background. For a finishing touch I added some gold bling :)

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday Fall Card

Hi crafty friend! It's inspiration Monday over at the La-La Land Crafts blog and today I have a Fall themed card to share using the new release. The links, colors and products I used are listed below.

I stamped, embossed and colored up the adorable hedgehog from the On Point stamp set using Copic markers. To create the wreath I die cut the leaves from the Autumn Things Die and the Large Birdhouse Die. I inked them using Distress Oxides inks and added lots of splatter. The bow is from the Gift Bag Die.

I cut the frame using the Inverted Scallops Square Die and the Double Stitched Squares Die. I stamped the wood grain background. The white panel was embossed with the leaf stencil for added texture. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

Newton's Nook Designs Thankful For Friends Like You!

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm over on the Newton's Nook Designs blog sharing a Fall themed card featuring little Newton and the Autumn Leaves Dies.

To get started I cut out a bunch of leaves using Bristol smooth card stock and inked them up with Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the leaves and the white card stock layer with oranges and golds. Next I stamped and embossed the kitten and colored him up using Copic markers. I fussy cut him out but you can also use the coordinating dies. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Fall Friends stamp set.

 I popped up the kitten using double sided foam and embellished with some sparkly gems for a finishing touch.

La-La Land Crafts October Release Day 3

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 3 of the La-La Land Crafts October release and I have a card to share featuring the Marci With Apples stamp. All the products and colors I used are listed below.

I colored the image using Copic markers and fussy cut her out. I cut the Apple Orchard Die border out of white card stock and colored it with Copics as well. Using the Scalloped Rectangles Die I cut out 2 layers. On the first layer I stenciled the clouds and stamped and embossed the sentiment from the new On Point Clear Stamps set. The second layer I trimmed down one side using the Double Stitched Hills Border Die and ink blended the grass usind Distress Inks.

I used the burlap print from the new Happy Fall Y'All Paper Pack to frame my layers and adhered Marci using double sided adhesive foam tape. I hope you like my card!

Thinking of You Fall Slimline Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I am over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog with a Fall themed slimline card featuring the adorable Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Patch Critters stamps. 

I stamped, embossed and colored these cuties using Copic markers. I especially adore how the little critters are peeking around the pumpkins. I used the Mama Elephant Slim Card Basics for the layers. Using Distress inks I blended the background using Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade. 

To create the grass I used the My Favorite Things Grassy Hills die and ink blended with greens. The sentiments are from the My Favorite Things Woodland Friends stamps. I stamped and embossed them and added some sequins to embellish.

Sending Hedghugs

Hi everyone!  I have a Fall themed shaker card that I am sharing over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog today featuring some super cute Lawn Fawn Dies.

To create the background I used some Distress Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed, Lawn, Shabby Shutters and Twisted Citron. I splattered the background and cut it out using the Mama Elephant Sweet Feline Dies. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Hedgehugs stamps. Next, I cut out several layers of the pumpkin to create a shaker using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Pumpkin Frame die. I filled it using sequins from my stash. 

 I pieced together the adorable hedgehog from the Lawn Fawn Tiny Gift Box Hedgehog Add on Die and hid him behind the shaker.  Finally I cut out the leaves from the Pumpkin Die as well as the Acorn House Die and inked them up around the edges.

Happy Fall

Hi everyone! Today I am posting over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog with this Fall inspired card featuring some adorable stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. 

I just love the new Acorn House Die and cut it out using some different colored brown card stock. I also cut out the vines, leaves and flowers using white card stock and colored them using Copics. I stamped, embossed and Copic colored the adorable squirrels from the Cheery Christmas stamps. I cut the images using my ScanN Cut but you can also use the coordinating Cheery Christmas Lawn Cuts coordinating dies. 

For the background I ink blended both the base layer and the grass layer that was cut using the My Favorite Things Grassy Hills Die-namics. I used Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade.  For the grass I used Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters and Twisted Citron.

 The Hello Fall sentiment is from the Hello Bluebird Fall Friends stamps. I stamped the sending love sentiment inside the door using the Lawn Fawn Say What? Christmas Critters stamps.

Jaded Blossom New Monthly Challenge November 2019

Hi everyone! It is time for a new monthly challenge at Jaded Blossom and the theme is: Fall/Thanksgiving

Here is what I made:

I created a card featuring this cutie pie kitty from the From Our Patch to Yours stamps. I stamped, embossed and colored the image using Copics. I cut out some grass using white card stock and the Spring Dies and colored it using Copics.  The circle from the Stitched Circle Dies was inked using Distress inks. 

The small leaves are from the Fall Banner Dies. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Scarecrow Kisses stamps. Finally I embellished with some Nuvo Glitter drops.

Autumn Greetings

Hi everyone! TodayI have a Fall themed card to share featuring Stamp Anniething's Annie Warm and Toasty stamp.

I stamped, embossed and colored her up using Copics. The background was inked using distress inks. I cut out the leaves from the Give Thanks Die.

Autumn is my favorite season! The sentiment and stitched card layer are from Jaded Blossom.

I added pencil details to the hat and scarf, some sparkle marker and embellished with sequins.

Jaded Blossom September 2019 Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's September Stamp Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Von Marie's blog you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made:

I created a couple treat holders with Thanksgiving in mind. I've been thinking of ways to dress up the table this year and while out shopping with my friend a couple weeks ago I noticed a lot of teal and copper or gold pumpkins trending. I decided to try out that look and this is what I came up with. Here is a video for a closer look at the release:

Using the new Mini Candy Bar Slider Die I made a Hershey Kiss holder by cutting out 3 panels of woodgrain card stock and then gluing them together. This treat holder fit 4 kisses perfectly! I stamped and embossed the Thankful sentiment from the From Our Patch to Yours stamp using a coppery metallic embossing powder. I cut a pumpkin using the Fall Dies and the swirl and leaves are from the Fall Banner Dies. I added some teal ribbon.

Next I cut out the Candy Bar Slider Die using some teal and white woodgrain card stock. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Fall Flourish stamps. I cut out the vine using a coppery foil card stock. I cut the pumpkins and some leaves using the same teal glitter card stock and a mercury foil card stock. I also added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in teal and copper colors.

Jaded Blossom September 2019 Release- Day 5

Hi everyone! Today is Day 5 of the Jaded Blossom Release sneak peeks and we have one last stamp set to reveal:

Here is what I made:

How cute is this little turkey?! It is so adorable!! I created a topper to go with this Fall candy. I stamped embossed and colored up this cutie using Copics. I cut out the image using the Stitched Circle Dies. Using some Fall papers from my stash I cut out the topper from the Ric Rac Topper Die.

 

I layered the circle using the Scallop Circle Die.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the label from the Mini Tag Dies 2.

I added some polka dot ribbon to the top for a finishing touch.
