BRI Sending Smiles Across the Miles

Hi crafty friends! Today I am participating in an INSTAGRAM HOP! We are “Sending Smiles Across the Miles” to celebrate and show support to our dear friend Vanessa, the hardworking owner of Butterfly Reflections Ink @butterflyreflectionsink. We wanted to send cheer and well wishes her way, to remind her that even though her Design Team is spread all across the world, our BRI family is here for her.

I created a pink butterfly themed card for Vanessa using one of my favorites from Newton's Nook Designs. You can find this stamp and coordinating die in the shop. I inkblended the background using Distress Oxide Inks. The image was heat embossed with sparkly gold embossing powder. I added a bit of color using pink Copic markers and cut out the image using the Heart Frames Die.

I stamped and embosse the sentiment and added some sparkly gemstones for a finishing touch. I hope Vanessa likes the card when she receives it in the mail.

I stamped, embossed and colored these cuties using Copic markers. I kept with the vintage blues and forest greens and pinks. For the touch of Gold I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the banner diecut. I cut out some branches with an older Martha Stewart punch and created the glittery pink bow from the Mama Elephants Basic Set. I also fussy cut the snow in white glitter cardstock across the top of the banner.
