Love You 2 Bits!

Hi friends! I have a Valentine to share today featuring the adorable Newton's Nook Designs Love Bots stamps and coordinating die set. All the supplies are used are listed below. 

To create my card I first stamped and colored the adorable cat and dog image from the set and cut them out using the coordinating dies. Next I cut out the scalloped heart from the Heart Frames Die set and ran it through my die cut machine with the Tumbling Hearts stencil to give it a light embossing. To add some depth I inked the heart lightly using some pink Distress Ink.

 I cut the background layer using this cute patterned paper from the Love & Woofs paper pad with the largest die from the Framework Die set. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut it out with the banner from the A7 Frames & Banners Die. I adhered all the layers onto a pink card base and popped up the critters and the sentiment using foam tape.

Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 1

Hi everyone! It is Day 1 of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's January release and today we are sharing the new Puppy Heart stamp set with coordinating dies along with two new paper pads! Here is what I created:

First I stamped and colored this adorable new image using Copic markers. I stamped the friends fur-ever sentiment inside the heart and cut it out using the coordinating dies. To help the pup stand out I cut out a scalloped circle from the Circle Frames Die set and lightly inked it with light pink. I added foam tape to the back of the circle to add dimension. 

The background layer was created by dry embossing the Petite Hearts stencil. It adds a nice embossed detail and I always have a tough time photographing how amazing this looks! Next I chose different patterns from the new Love & Woofs paper pad and cut out scalloped hearts from the Heart Frames Die set. I glued them over the top of the hearts. I added an additional sentiment from the Heartfelt Love stamp set and embossed it onto a banner from the Banner Trio Dies.

Newton's Nook Designs Sweet Treats Blog Hop!

Hi crafty friends! The Newton's Nook Designs Team is hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats - just in time for Valentine's day! Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!

Here is what I created:

I created a couple treat bag toppers for some yummy Hershey's chocolates. To create the topper I cut out the scalloped rectangle from the Framework Die set and folded it in half. For the handle I cut out the frame from the Snow Globe Shaker Die and trimmed off the bottom. Next I cut 2 slits in the fold of the rectangle, tucked in the handle, and glued it inside. It turned out so cute!

To decorate the topper I colored up the adorable robots from the Love Bots Stamps. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. The heart is from the Heart Frame Die set and the patterned paper from the Love & Meows Paper Pad.

Finally I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut them using the smallest banner die from the A7 Frames & Banners. These were quick and easy and so fun to make!!

Newton's Nook Designs January Release 2022 Day 3

  

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs January Release and we are featuring 2 new stamp sets! All the new products will be available for purchase on Friday!

Here is what I created using the new Heartfelt Meows and Heartfelt Woofs stamps:

For my first card I colored up these adorable kitties using Copic markers. I cut the image out using the Heart Frames Die Set which coordinates perfectly. I embossed the background layer using the new Petite Heart stencil. It's a little hard to see in the pics but the added texture is amazing! I also used paper from the new Love & Meows Paper Pad. The sentiment was stamped and embossed onto a banner from the Banner Trio Die Set. For a finishing touch I embellished with some sparkly gemstones.

For my second card, I used a similar design using a different layout and patterned paper.

These cards were so fun to color! Aren't the images just the cutest??

Bunny Hugs & Kisses

Hi crafty friends! Today I have a Valentine's Day card to share featuring the adorable Bitty Bunnies Stamps. This set is one of my most favorite stamps from Newton's Nook Designs.

First I stamped, embossed, and colored up these cutie pies using Copic markers. Next I stamped the Heartfelt Love stamp and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I then die cut it out using the Heart Frames Dies and ink blended the heart with Distress Inks.

The background layer was dry embossed using the Tumbling Hearts Stencil. I love this subtle texture that it gives your card without being over powering. It's difficult to photograph but you can see the embossed hearts from this angled pic. Finally I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut it out using the Banner Trio Die.

Reveal Day 4: Newton's Nook Designs January Release

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share the Day 4 reveal for the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! Today we are showcasing 2 new stamp sets and coordinating dies. I created two Valentine's Day cards for you today :)

For the first card featuring the Newton's Mug stamps I pulled out some of my patterned papers. I stamped, embossed and copic colored the kitty in the Newton's Mug stamp set and cut it out using the coordinating die. Next I stamped the image again on some patterned papers, fussy cut the mug and glued it onto my diecut image. I added some shadows using cool gray Copic markers.  

I cut out the hearts using the new Heart Frame Dies. I stamped and gold embossed the sentiment from the new Heartfelt Roses stamp set onto the fishtail banner from the Banner Trio Dies.  I stamped, embossed and colored up the little hearts from the Smitten Kittens and Love Emergency stamps. 

For my second card I stamped, embossed and colored the adorable mugs from the Love Cafe' stamps along with this adorable cutie from the new Smitten Kitten stamps. I cut the images out using the coordinating dies. For the background panel I cut out the largest postage stamp rectangle from the Framework Dies. I ink blended the background using Spin Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Picked Raspberry and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks.

I splattered the background with sparkly gold and silver. I cut out the stitched heart from the new Heart Frames Dies and stamped and gold embossed the sentiment in the center. I embellished with clay hearts and some sparkle marker on the mugs.

Reveal Day 3: Newton's Nook Designs January Release

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share the Day 3 reveal for the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! Today we have one new stamp set and coordinating die. I created a slimline Valentine's Day card for you today :)

For the scalloped layer I used the Slimline Frames & Porthole dies. Using the square stencil from the new Slimline Masking Circles and Squares stencil set I created the square shaped scene for the background. First I stenciled the clouds using the Clouds stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create the sky. Next I created a forest using the Tiny Trees Stencil and Bundled Sage and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks. For the road I used the Hills and Grass Stencil and Black Soot Distress Ink.

I stamped, embossed and colored the images from the new Love Emergency stamps using Copics and cut them out using the coordinating dies. To frame the little scenes I used the stitched panel from the Slimline Frames & Windows Die. I stamped and embossed the sentiment into the center square. I cut out a red layer of cardstock to frame the scalloped layer. Finally I embellished my card using some little clay hearts.

Reveal Day 2: Newton's Nook Designs January Release

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share the Day 2 reveal for the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! There is one new stamp and coordinating die along with two slimline masking stencils! I created a slimline Valentine's Day card for you today :)

For the scalloped layer I used the Slimline Frames & Porthole dies. Using the new Heartfelt Love stamp and the new Slimline Masking Hearts 1 stencil I created the ombre heart background. First I stamped over the stencil and embossed the image using white embossing powder. Then I inked it up with Distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet.

I stamped, embossed and colored the images from the Smitten Kittens stamps using Copics and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I absolutely adore this stamp set!! To frame the hearts I used the stitched panel from the Slimline Frames & Windows Die. I stamped and embossed the sentiment also from the Heartfelt Love stamp set onto some black card stock and trimmed it into a small banner using some scissors. I embellished my card using some little clay hearts.

Reveal Day 1: Newton's Nook Designs January Release

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share the Day 1 reveal for the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! I created two cards for you today :)

For my first card I kept it clean and simple. I stamped and embossed the heart and sentiment from the new Heartfelt Love stamp set onto a panel of kraft card stock. I framed it with a layer of pale pink card stock. I used colored pencils to randomly color some of the heats and embellished with some sparkly sequins.

For my second card I stamped the gorgeous rose heart image from the Heartfelt Roses stamp using some sparkly gold embossing powder. I used Zig Real Brush markers to color the roses and leaves. 

I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the diecut banner from the Banner Trio Die that coordinates beautifully with the sentiments in these sets!! Finally I splattered the card with gold and the colors I used on the image.

There is also a new Heart Frames Die that coordinates with the heart images as well that I will use in some upcoming projects!
