Have A Really Cool New Year!

Hi everyone! Today I am posting over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog with a card to help ring in the New Year featuring some cuteness from Lawn Fawn! 2020 is nearly over and I sure hope 2021 will be a better year for us all!

To create my card I started off with the Slim Window Dressing scalloped layer die from Mama Elephant. I inked it up using Distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Broken China. I added the tree layers using the Lawn Fawn Slimline Forest Border die. I stamped, embossed and colored up the images from the Lawn Fawn Yeti or Not and Party Animal stamps using Copic markers.

The snowflakes were cut from glittered cardstock using the Mini Snowflakes Lawn Cuts die. I also embellished using a white gel pen and some sparkle marker.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and I hope you will check out these goodies in the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop. Have a great day and I'm wishing you all the best to come in 2021!!

Weeeeee! Dashin' Thru the Snow

Hi everyone! Today I am over on the Butterfly Reflections blog with this winter themed card featuring some cuteness from Mama Elephant. I just adore these critters from the Dashin Thru the Snow stamps.

I stamped, embossed and colored up these cuties using Copic markers. The images can be cut using the coordinating Dashin Thru the Snow Creative Cuts. For the background I used a soft blend of Distress Inks in Milled Lavender, Broken Glass, Peacock Feathers and Broken China. I splattered water, white paint and shimmer spray across the background and added some snowflake sequins from my stash.

The beautiful snowflake frame die is the Mama Elephant Flurry Frame Creative Cuts.  It's the perfect sized layer for an A2 card base. I used the Lawn Fawn Slimline Forest Border Die to create the hill. The banner is also part of the frame die set and I stamped and embossed the sentiment.

Meowy Christmas

Hi everyone! Today I am over on the Butterfly Reflection's Ink blog sharing a Christmas card featuring colors from this month's Mood Board challenge. The adorable images are from Newton's Nook A Kitten Christmas stamps and coordinating dies.

I stamped, embossed and colored these cuties using Copic markers. I kept with the vintage blues and forest greens and pinks. For the background scalloped layer I used the Mama Elephant Slim Window  Dressing Dies. I used Distress Inks in Broken China and Tumbled Glass to blend the blue snowy sky background and splattered some white paint for the snow fall. I cut out the window frame using the Newton's Nook Slimline Frames & Windows die

I inked the squares using the Newton's Nook Tiny Trees stencil and Distress Inks in Pine Needles and Evergreen Bough. For the touch of Gold I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the banner diecut. I cut out some branches with an older Martha Stewart punch and created the glittery pink bow from the Mama Elephants Basic Set. I also fussy cut the snow in white glitter cardstock across the top of the banner.

I popped the kittens up using some foam adhesive tape. I added lots of sparkle to the kitten's hat and cut out some sparkly glitter snowflakes with the Lawn Fawn Mini Snowflakes Die set.

I stamped and embossed the images and then colored them using Copic markers. I cut out a rectangle using patterned paper measured at 3.25" x 8" for the base layer.

Hello crafty friends! I am super excited to be a featured guest for the Newton's Nook- Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week!!! This is their 7th annual event and I am so happy to have been invited to join in on the fun!! My project today is a shaker slim line Christmas card featuring the adorable new Christmas Puppies stamps. How stinkin cute are these pups??!! And the sentiments are just as cute!

I also used the Slimline Frames & Window Dies  to create my shaker layer. I stamped and embossed the sentiment as well as the images and colored up the cuties using Copic markers. I used Christmas patterned polka dot papers from my stash to cut out 2 rectangles.  I cut out one to back the shaker and a larger one measured at 3.25"x 8.25"to frame the shaker layer.  Here is a video of how I made this card:

I just adore these images and had so much fun coloring them!! The sentiment "Peace, love and belly rubs" was perfect to place on the banner and the center of my card. I had to add the cute little bone tied with a red bow to finish it off!
