You're Turtley Awesome

Hi crafty friends! Today is inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog with an "Anything Goes" theme. I decided to use the Circles Galore and mix it with the Hey Chum Stamps. Listed below are the colors I used as well as links to the products :)

I started out randomly stamping the circles using blues and green inks for an abstract type of look. I splattered some of the ink as well. The result was an ocean like feel so I decided to color the little fish and turtle from the Hey Chum stamps using Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. 

I cut both layers using the Rectangle and Scalloped Rectangles Dies. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Reveal Day 4

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects that I created for the Newton's Nook Designs August release! There is lots of Halloween and Fall themed goodness! Here is what I created for the Day 4 reveal featuring the Signs of Fall Stamps & Dies and the Heartfelt Fall Stamps :)

I think this may be my favorite card for this release. I just love how the gold embossing with the Fall colors look. I stamped, embossed and colored the leaves using Copic markers. I used the Heart Frame Dies to cut out the image.

I did soft ink blending on the background and stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold as well. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

For the second card I stamped, embossed and colored the images using Copic markers. I die cut them out using the coordinating dies. I cut out the rectangle using the Frames & Flags Die set and did some soft ink blending. The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Fall stamps.

The plaid background was inked up using the Plaid Stencil set. I love how this card came together. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems :)

Spellbinders Be Merry Collection

Hi everyone! Today I have some Christmas cards to share featuring amazing stamps and dies from Spellbinders! I didn't have much time to craft in July since I was teaching summer school. So I'm making up for it now in August! Links to the products I used are down below. 

For my first card I used the Holiday Gnomes stamps. They are SO CUTE!!! I stamped, embossed and colored up the images using Copic markers. I stamped and embossed the trees using Distress Oxide inks. The background was fun to create also using Distress Oxide Inks. The snow was cut using the Colorblock Landscape die (June small die of the month) and white glittered cardstock.  

I splattered some water and white paint for the snow effect in the background. I also stamped and embossed the sentiment.

For my second card I used the adorable Chill Bear Etched Die. This set is so much fun to play with! The bear is just the cutest. I cut it out using white cardstock and added a little shading with Copic markers. The snowy landscape is cut from the same Colorblock Landscape Die and glittered cardstock. 

I ink blended the sky using Distress Oxide inks and splattered some shimmery silver spray for snow. My favorite part of the card was using my new Glimmer Hot Foil System and adding the foiled sentiment to the center of the card. It really adds so much and looks amazing!! The sentiment is part of the Be Merry Collection and is from the Gifts of Christmas Sentiments Glimmer set.

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Reveal Day 3

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects that I created for the Newton's Nook Designs August release! There is lots of Halloween and Fall themed goodness! Here is what I created for the Day 3 reveal featuring the Fall Friends Stamps & Dies and the Heartfelt Gourds Stamps :)

The adorable Fall Friends stamps and die is so fun to color! I stamped, embossed and colored the images using Copic Markers. All that was left to do was to create a soft ink blended background and stamp and emboss the sentiment. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

For my second card I stamped, embossed and colored up the gourds using Copics. I then used the Heart Frames Dies to cut out the image. I decided to add the little critter from the Harvest Tails stamps. I started coloring him and decided to make it a little skunk LOL!

I ink blended the background using some Fall colors and added some sparkly gems and splatter. I stamped and embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder and cut it out using the Banner Trio Dies.

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Reveal Day 2

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects that I created for the Newton's Nook Designs August release! There is lots of Halloween and Fall themed goodness! Here is what I created for the Day 2 reveal featuring the Count Newton Stamps & Dies, Trick or Treat Kittens Stamps & Dies and the Candy Corn Stencil :)

For my first card I stamped, embossed, colored all the images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. The scalloped background was cut from the Frames & Flags Die. I masked a small circle diecut and ink bended the background. The ground was cut using the Land Border Dies.

For a finishing touch I splattered some stars with some glimmer mist spray.

For my second card I used the Candy Corn stencil to create the background layer. The kitty and candies were stamped, embossed, colored using Copic markers and cut out using the coordinating dies. To add contrast I cut out a strip of black glittered cardstock for a border.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added the little candies for a finishing touch.

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Reveal Day 1

 

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects that I created for the Newton's Nook Designs August release! There is lots of Halloween and Fall themed goodness! Here is what I created for the Day 1 reveal featuring the Booms & Boos stamps:)

This stamp set is so cute! I just adore these witches! I stamped and embossed the broomstick witch and colored her using Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut her out. I also stamped and embossed 2 bats and cut them out. The trees and headstones are from the Spooky Street stamps. I stamped them with black ink onto the scalloped panel from the Frames & Flags Dies.

I cut the ground layer using black cardstock and the Land Borders Die. I masked off a circle using the Slimline Masking Circles Stencil to create the moon and stamped and embossed the sentiment. The background was ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks. For a finishing touch I added some clear gems for the stars.

La-La Land Crafts Monday Inspiration Fish You Were Here

Hi crafty friends! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are featuring projects with an interactive element. For my card I decided to use an action wobble! Links to all the products I used and the colors are below.

I colored the image using Copic marker and fussy cut it out. To create the background I used the Here Fishy Fishy background stamp with white embossing powder and Distress Oxide Inks. For the sky I use cloud stencil. I used the sentiment from the Jawesome News stamps and embossed it.

I stamped, embossed and colored the fish with Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and attached it to an action wobble and trimmed off the excess sticker.

La-La Land Crafts Ocean Slimline Card

Hey crafty friends! It's inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog featuring products from the July release and I created a slimline card. You can find links to the products and the colors I used below.

To create the background panel I cut the stitched circles out of a card stock panel measuring 3.5 inches by 8.5 inches. Using the new Circles Galore Clear Stamp Set I randomly stamped the images using blue and aqua inks. 

Next I ink blended the background using Distress Oxide inks. I cut out the dolphin, sharks, seaweed and coral using dies from the new release and colored them all using Copic markers. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on black cardstock using white embossing powder and adhered it to my card using double sided adhesive foam tape. 

I arranged all the die cuts and glued everything down. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones and black gel pen to the eyes.

Newton's Nook Shell-ebrate Card

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing this card over on the Newton's Nook blog. It features the adorable Newton's Seashell stamp set and coordinating die. 

I stamped, embossed and colored up this kitty using Copic markers. For the background I stamped the Seashell Roundabout stamp several times and embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I ink blended in blues and tans to represent the beach.

The layers were cut using the Frames & Flags Die. For the sentiment I heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I also dry embossed the scalloped layer using the Seashell Stencil. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gemstones.

La-La Land Crafts Mermaid Mona

Hi crafty friends! Today on the La-La Land Crafts blog we are a sharing projects using the July release. My card features Mermaid Mona. (Links to products and colors used listed below)

I colored the Mermaid Mona image using Copic markers and fussy cut her out. For the background I ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks. Using the largest die from the Under the Sea Die I cut a frame out of white cardstock. 

I also cut the seaweed, coral and little fish out of white cardstock and colored them with Copics. The sentiment is from the A Little Note Clear Stamp Set and I stamped and embossed it onto the front panel. For a finishing touch I added colored glitter marker to the mermaid tail, coral and fish and I also embellished with some sparkly gems.
