Good Days Start With Coffee!

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing my second card for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. 

Wow there are SO many awesome coffee themed cards and projects. I have only been able to comment on the 1st hundred or so... Hopefully I will get through at least half!

For my card I used the adorable freebie from Jessica Lynn Original stamps. I added a little sun on the coffee mug and added lots of sparkle to it. The scalloped stitched die is from Gina Marie Dies. I colored this image with my Copics and a few Spectrum Noir markers. I added some sequins for a bit more sparkle. The stitched rectangle die is from My Creative Time. 

Here is a closeup where you can really see how wonderful my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen is. I added some shimmery yellow ribbon and the sentiment is from Inky Antics Simple Sentiment set.  That's all for today!

Kawaii Nerdy-Thanks A Latte Card

Hello friends! Today I am participating for my first time in the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I LOVE coffee and I have enjoyed all the projects from past hops. I thought I'd join in on the fun and also have a chance to win some awesome prizes~  

I made this shaped 5.25" card with Kraft card stock using my Cricut Explore and Phrases cartridge. It's kind of like a fancy Top Note shape.  I embossed the top layer with the Tim Holtz coffee themed Texture Fades On The Go folder. I inked it up with my Vintage Photo distress ink. The adorable Kawaii Nerdy Latte svg is from SVG Cutting Files.  I also embossed the lid of the coffee cup using a Sizzix embossing folder called Scallops & Lines.

I stamped and embossed this sentiment from Jaded Blossom Kind Thanks stamp set. The banner is from My Creative Time Ribbon End Dies. I used a pink polka dot paper to give it a little pop from all the brown. I topped it off with some iridescent sequins.

Finally I added some twine for a decorative accent. I hope you like it!! I'm working on a couple other coffee themed cards but today is Father's Day so I must take a break from my Craft Room and spoil my hubby!

Doggie Hug Gift Card Holders

Hello friends!! Today I am sharing these adorable Doggie Gift Card Holders. Many of you know that my hubby is a Vet and I thought these would be perfect for his dog lovin' employees! Gift cards are the way to go on so many occasions so why not spruce them up with these cuties?! 

The file is from Digi Playground and is called Schnauzer Hug Gift Card Holder. I have a couple schnauzer lovin' pals but I thought I would also use this same file to make a couple other breeds as well. Just by placing the nose higher and snipping the eyebrows you can get different terrier looks.

Here is what they look like opened up and the bottom has a pocket for the gift card. I also snipped the semi circle with my circle punch for easier access to the gift card. The pocket folds up and there are slits for the paws to stick into.

Here is the schnauzer.... I added some accents using my gelly roll pen and finished the eyes off with some glossy accents for a nice popped up shiny look. I cut his collar and heart out with red foil card stock and popped it up with 2 layers of foam tape. I inked around the layers with my distress inks to add some dimension.

He looks kind of like an Airedale pup. I stamped this sentiment and paw from the Pretty Cute Stamp set called Fur Baby. 

This little cutie kinda looks like my white fluffy dog Minnie. Just a little terrier mixed mutt!

Beautiful 3d Flower Gift Card Boxes

Hello friends! I made a tutorial for a 3D Pop Up Gift Card Holder from an SVG by Digiplayground. It is so pretty I just fell in love with it so I thought I would share!

You Rock Electric Guitar Card

Hi crafty friends!! I got to play a little bit yesterday and made a graduation card for my nephew. He plays electric guitar and my hubby thought I should make a card similar to the one I made for my son with the drums. This is what I came up with.

I used my Gina Marie Dies for the cross stitch panel and watercolored it the same way I did my son's with the Tim Holtz Barn Door Distress Ink and my Zig watercolors. I cut the guitar from my Cricut Indie Art cartridge with glittery red cardstock. I tried to make the guitar similar colors to the one he owns. 

I forgot to take a pic of the inside but I stamped it to say Congratulations on your Graduation using my Joy's Life Everyday Occasions stamps. The You Rock sentiment was stamped and embossed and is from the Joy's Life Father & Son stamps. 

I added some silver spash/drops from my Silver Metallic Wink of Luna Pen. I adhered the guitar with some foam tape and I was done. No sequins or rhinestones... after all this is supposed to be masculine LOL!

Pretty Water Colored Roses

Hello my crafty friends! Well, my summer is off to a rocky start but I finally got in my craft room last night to play a little. This past week has been busy finishing up the semester with 4 shows and in the middle of it all my refrigerator decided to die on me UGH!!! I'm still waiting for it to be repaired!

Here are a couple cards I made using my 

Paper Smooches stamps :)

I white embossed these pretty roses from the Paper Smooches Lovely Thoughts stamps onto water colored paper. I used my Zig Real Brush markers and my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers to color them in. (Colors used- SN Aqua: Blossom, Zig: Pale Pink, Light Carmine, Camine Red. Light Green, Pale Green) I used water and my Spectrum Noir clear Sparkle Pen to blend. To my surprise the yellow from the red tone markers separated while drying and I got the coolest effect. These roses look just like ones from the garden at my old house. I went back over with the pink the next day and love how they turned out. 

The embossing folder on the left is from the We R Memory Keepers Next Level 3D- Woven and the one on the right is from a Cuttlebug set called Decorative Tile. I fussy cut the roses and arranged them in layers, popping up the largest roses. 

I used my new Gina Marie Designs die for the stitched scallop frame and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.  The stitched banners are from My Creative Time Ribbon End Dies. 

This scallop edge die is from Mama Elephant and the sentiments are both from the PS Lovely Thoughts stamps.
