Hello crafty friends! Today I have a little card I made for my new bloggy friend, Barbara. She was the winner of my Christmas In July blog candy. She is so incredibly talented and I just love her blog My Little Spot of Sanity. You should go visit and see her creations and leave her some bloggy love.
How cute is this little bunny stamp? It's "Jade" from Sister Stamps. I came across their creations while on pinterest one day and knew I had to find this bunny!! Well, I found so much more than bunny goodness! They make Japanese themed stamps as well and are in Hawaii. My mom is Japanese (I'm half) and there is not a lot of Asian designs. I fell in love with the product at first sight and was inspired to start stamping again. I have 7 of their stamps now but I've only been able to invest in a few markers so far, so my coloring is a bit limited.
The card is cut from the Wild Card Cartridge. I love that cartridge. The papers were from my scrap box and I think they are DCWV. I cut the circle frame using the center point feature. The banner is from my CTMH Artiste Cartridge.
I added this ribbon from American crafts and a heart rhinestone to give it a little bling. The markers I used are Spectrum Noir and I used EB2, GB8, GB10, and PP1. Can you believe I haven't stamped and colored since my first year of marriage 16 years ago? I loved coloring this little bunny and can't wait to get some more markers!! I will definitely be making more stamped projects. I've just ordered a bunch from CTMH, not to mention the box of wood mounted stamps I have from the 90's that I just unpacked! Such fun to come :)
I will participate in the following challenges:
