Meet Me In Paris Crafty Meet Up Goody Bags

Hi friends! I am going to a crafty meet up today to meet with 30 crafty ladies. It is Paris themed and we are meeting at a Marie Callenders. We all make goody bags for eachother and swap towards the end. Here is what I came up with: 

I decided to make embellishment packs for everyone!

I used the JB Ric Rac Topper and decorated it with the Spellbinders Eiffel Tower Die. I stamped it and added the flower with a pearl flatback. 

The first embellishment is a heart with some tulle and a a pink and gold metallic chevron ribbon topped with a stitched butterfly die with some bling. The middle embellishment is a rose die from Paper Smooches that I cut out with glitter cardstock. I also layered it with the same sparkly glitter pink tulle. The bottom embellishment is a rosette I cut from the Artiste cartridge. I found the Poodle from the Once Upon A Princess cartridge. I cut out a bow and collar from glitter cardstock. I also added a layer of tulle.

I embossed the backer to add some more texture. I had tons of fun making these but making 30 of them did take quite a bit of time. I think they turned out really cute and I hope the ladies all love them. I know they will appreciate the time and detail that I put into these goodies.

Heart Tag & Coffee Planner Clips

Hello friends! Today I am over on the Jaded Blossom Blog sharing a couple projects for you today.

 My first project is a heart tag to go with this box of Reeses Pieces.

I thought the puzzle cutout from my Cricut added an extra fun detail. 

I also made a couple planner clips.

I used the new heart dies and a sentiment from the January release.

I really enjoy making planner clips and playing with my new planner. 

I made one clip using the coffee cup and created a shaker clip. The other clip I used the Heart Dies and added the mini coffee cup. I love this sentiment from the new Kiss Me A Latte stamps.

Here is what I made:

I created a Spring card and bunny treat box set. 

I used this adorable sentiment and stamped and embossed on a die from the Mini Tag Dies 2 set. The box is from my Cricut Artiste cartridge. I embellished his face with a brown flatback pearl for the eyes and Copics for the nose. I added the little butterfly die from the JB Spring Dies 2 set. I topped it off with some sparkle and bling.

 
For the card I used the Card Mat Dies for the floral layer and the sentiment layer. I used the butterfly again and the Sweet Baby Bunny svg is from SVG Cutting Files.

Forrest Gump Birthday Card

Hello friends! Well I'm finally getting back into the swing of things. I had some good crafting time with the Craftin Desert Divas release. It was a bit tough at first to get back into it but I managed to get quite a few projects done. 

My daughter's friend is a big fan of  Forrest Gump. So I worked on this to make an unconventional  but special card for her.

I made this svg with an image I found on Google. It's a very simple image but very recognizeable. I wanted to do a feminine card so I thought maybe I could use layers to soften it up.

I used the CDD Fancy Frame Dies the Mini banner dies. One of my crafting goals for this year is to use my many treasures in my craft room. So I pulled out my Fastenator and sorted through my box of staples and found the SMILE sentiment and decided to use that to attach my banners.

I found the feather on the Cricut Artiste cartridge. I popped it up and glittered it up with my Wink of Stella. I think it added the perfect touch!

For the inside I found this quote and printed it out. The recipient was over the moon happy with it so my mission was accomplished!

Happy 2016 From Owl Of Us

Happy New Year's Day crafty friends! 2015 is behind us and I am hopeful for what this new year will bring. In November I lost someone very dear to me and the holidays were very hard to celebrate. I am back to crafting again and looking forward to making some wonderful things to share with you all and looking forward to seeing your creations as well! 

Today I have a shaker card I made using the new CDD Cheers stamps. Don't you just love this adorable little owl!!?

I stamped the little champagne flutes along with the little swirl stamp from the Wanna Hug stamps and then embossed them with gold embossing powder for my background paper. I used my Cricut to design the shaker opening and the banner for the sentiment.  The banner is from the Artiste cartridge. The happy is from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge and the font for the 2016 is from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I then filled the shaker with the CDD Silver & Gold sequin mix. The sentiment is from the Owl-idays stamp set. 

I colored the little owl with my Spectrum Noir markers and popped him up with some foam tape. I also added some bubbles to the glasses with some Stickles and Glossy Accents.

 

For a quick finish I used the Fancy Frame dies for the inside layer and stamped the Happy New Year from the Happy Celebrations set.

Bundle of Joy

Hello friends!  Today I have a baby shower shaker card to share. I used the adorable giraffe from the So Long mini stamp. I made a tutorial for those of you who asked me lots of questions on facebook on how I made the zebra baby shower card. This card is another version of the one I made for the last Craftin Desert Diva's stamp release.

The sentiment is from one of the baby sets called Snips & Snails. 

There are so many great sentiments in that stamp set. 

I filled the shaker with a mixture of  Mermaid Lagoon and Emerald Isle sequins. 

I embellished with some burlap and buttons.

Here's what I've created for you today...

I made a shaker card for a baby shower. I used my favorite zebra and colored her with purple spectrum noir markers. I made the shaker with my fuse tool and filled it up with the CDD Pixie Dust sequins. The word baby is from the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge and the card shape is from Design Space. 

I added some prima flowers and pearls and used a sentiment from the Snips & Snails stamp set. 

For my next card I made a Christmas In July shaker card.

I used the Zebra and Koala and put them together. The antlers are from the Chill Out stamps and the present and Santa hat is from the Owl-idays.  The cuts are all from my Cricut and the tree is from the Joys Of The Season cartridge. The snow is from the Outdoor Landscape Dies.

I added some ribbon for a scarf and a little pom pom for the hat. It's hard to see but this card is full of sparkle from metallic glitter pens, Wink of Stella, and the wonderful and new Peppermint Twist sequins. I hand cut the banner and embossed a sentiment from the Happy Celebrations stamp set. I added some bling to finish it off.
