Jaded Blossom June 2017 Release Day 2

Hello friends! Today is the second day of reveals for the Jaded Blossom June Release! Today we are showcasing 2 new fabulous stamp sets!

Here is what I made:

I made a shaker gift card holder. I colored up this cutie pie genie using my Spectum Noir and Copic markers. I made a pocket using my fuse tool and some sheet protector plastic. Here is a video for a closer look:

I love how adorable this genie is! I filled my shaker with sequins from my stash. 

Next I made a Game of Thrones style Birthday Card.

I just love this themed set of sentiments! So many possibilities! I used my Cricut to cut out the scroll and quill. I inked the scroll, splattered some black distress ink, and embellished with a few clear sequins.

Craftin Desert Divas New Release- Blog Hop Day 2

Here's what I've created for you...

First I made this card using my Cricut and the Boo stamps and stamp svg for the card base.

I welded the svg to a rectangle and welded it to the tombstone from the Cricut Life's A Party cartridge to make my card base. I colored up the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and added the Outdoor Landscape Dies to the front panel. The spider and web is from the Cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge.

I added a lot of shimmer using my Wink of Stella pen.

I stamped the inside with a sentiment from the new Fright Night stamps.

For my next project I made little treat boxes using the new stamps from Fright Night and Boo. 

I actually made 30 of these! I made them to give to some crafty ladies that I will be meeting for the first time at a Pocket Letter swap this weekend.  They are crafty so I wanted it to be nice but at the same time to make 30 of them, I didn't want to go overboard on the details. 

I made a video to show you how I made them:

The boxes were cut with my Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge at 5 inches. Next I stamped up my images and embossed with the holographic embossing powder that I used on my spiderweb card. This way I wouldn't have any images to color and it would be quicker to put together.

The front stitched panel is from the Fancy Frames Dies. The sentiment is from the Say It Big stamps. The tag is from the New Mix It Up dies.

The postage die is also from the Mix It Up dies.

The stitched scallop is from the Banner Dies. I hope you like my projects!!

Christmas In July Blog Hop Winner and Alien Card

Happy Tuesday everyone! First of all I have the winner of the Exploring Cricut and more blog hop. I meant to get that posted Sunday night but Hubby and I made it home so late from our Anniversary weekend in Las Vegas that I forgot! More on that in just a bit. Yesterday I was exhausted and spent the day catching up on household duties. Now I feel like I need a vacation to recover from my vacation, lol!

And now here is my project:

I made this for the little brother of one of my Girl Scouts. 

He is such a sweet boy.

This cute little card is from my Life's A Party cartridge. I cut the card out at 5.0". I layered it with the main image that had more detail, however it did not line up perfectly so I had to give it a little trim. I used DCWV glitter cardstock and CM silver metallic cardstock. I added the little Happy Birthday banner on the bottom and stamped it with Joy's Life Stamps.

The inside sentiment is cut at 1.5". This is a fast and adorable cut and I love this cartridge. It is full of cute shaped cards and so easy to make. 

So I hope you don't mind if I share a few pics from hubby and my 16th Anniversary weekend in Las Vegas! We had to take a selfie on our way out to the concert to send to the kids! We felt so silly doing this, lol! We're not gamblers but we love music so we like to see shows and hang out. 

Our first night we saw the Steve Miller Band and Journey. We had decent seats and it was fun! Maybe I'm getting old but Journey was so loud! There were people leaving saying they were going deaf! Lucky for me I had my earplugs. I know better after being a musician for many years.  Even hubby wore them and he usually doesn't believe in them!

I really enjoyed the Steve Miller Band. He still sounded amazing after so many years!

Originally hubby bought tix to see Celine Dion! But she cancelled last minute so we got tix to see Aerosmith and kept the weekend rockin! We were blown away with how close we were to the stage!

I was literally 10 feet away from Steven Tyler!!!
