We Mermaid To Be Friends

Hello friends! Today I have a mermaid card to share! I first colored up this adorable mermaid stamp from Stamp Anniething with my Copics.

I fussy cut her out and made a card.

I watercolored the background using distress inks. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and iridescent sequins.

Finally I added a lot of sparkle using my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen and Stardust Stickles for the pearls in her hair. Here are all the products I used:

Flamingo Cards & Gift Tag

Hello friends! Today I am also posting on the Jaded Blossom Blog

sharing some cards and a tag featuring the new Tickled Pink stamps! This set is definitely one of my new faves!!!

I colored up these cutie pie flamingos using my Copic Sketch and 

Spectrum Noir markers. For a closer look here is a video:

I couldn't decide on which striped papers to use so I decided to use both!

I added lots of sparkle to the flamingos with my sparkle pen and embellished with sequins.

I cut the vellum flowers using the Tropical Flower Dies. I used 

Nuvo Crystal drops in the center. I also created a tag with the same theme to add to this paper pad I found.

Cheeseburger Card

Hello crafty friends! What a busy busy week it has been! Tuesday was my son's 15th Birthday. (How did that happen! LOL) He is a hungry teenager and lately has been a bottomless pit! His favorite thing to eat right now is cheeseburgers. So when I saw this card at at SVG Cuts I knew I had to make it for him LOL!

This svg is awesome! It went together easily and was a ton of fun to make. I altered the flag to be bigger so I could fit this sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Party Pants stamp set. 

I inked the edges on all the cuts. I also heat embossed the sentiment and added sesame seeds with my jelly roll pen.

I love how this will easily fold for mailing. But I didn't need to so I didn't make the envelope. The card stands pretty tall at about 7 inches. My son thought the card was pretty cool so I am happy!

And now for my project! 

As prospective Editor In Chief for the High School Yearbook, my daughter got to go to New York with the standing Editors In Chief. She had the best time ever and I knew I wanted to do a layout.

I went with non-traditional colors and used a lot of metallic papers (hard to photograph LOL!) I love the street signs in this layout as well as the awesome silhouette with Lady Liberty! I used the cut out letters from the signs for the CSPA title. The stitched numbers are from the JB Alphabet Dies.  I used lots of JB dies to decorate and cut out my typed journaling.

Jaded Blossom May 2017 Release Blog Hop

I made a pineapple shaped boxcard! The file is from Lori Whitlock and I used the fabulous sentiment from the Toucan Of Thanks stamps and flowers from the Tropical Flower Dies.

I also created a shaker clip with the pineapple from the new Tropical Dies 2.
