Here is what I made..

I made a shaker card using this adorable bunny from the Deer Friends set! This is my first attempt at no line coloring and using my new Copic Sketch markers! The colors are W's 1, 3 & 5. I just LOVE these markers. I had so much fun coloring this little little fluff ball!

I used a raspberry colored distress ink along with a lighter pink chalk ink I had to color the background paper. I was going for an ombre effect. I used the Fancy Frame dies to cut out the layer. I can't wait til I can build up my collection of inks and Copics but they are both pricey so I can only get so many at a time. The sentiment and envelope are from the Sending Love stamps. One of my favorite sets! I white embossed the sentiment. The heart and scallop frame was cut with my Cricut Explore. 

I used the Outdoor Landscape Dies to cut the snowy ground and then I filled my shaker with the Snow & Ice sequins mix as well as some polar white Flower Soft for the snowy effect. I even added some dots using a sparky Stickles that I have. I added some shimmer to the heart border with my Wink of Stella and that is about it! I hope you like it!!

Happy 2016 From Owl Of Us

Happy New Year's Day crafty friends! 2015 is behind us and I am hopeful for what this new year will bring. In November I lost someone very dear to me and the holidays were very hard to celebrate. I am back to crafting again and looking forward to making some wonderful things to share with you all and looking forward to seeing your creations as well! 

Today I have a shaker card I made using the new CDD Cheers stamps. Don't you just love this adorable little owl!!?

I stamped the little champagne flutes along with the little swirl stamp from the Wanna Hug stamps and then embossed them with gold embossing powder for my background paper. I used my Cricut to design the shaker opening and the banner for the sentiment.  The banner is from the Artiste cartridge. The happy is from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge and the font for the 2016 is from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I then filled the shaker with the CDD Silver & Gold sequin mix. The sentiment is from the Owl-idays stamp set. 

I colored the little owl with my Spectrum Noir markers and popped him up with some foam tape. I also added some bubbles to the glasses with some Stickles and Glossy Accents.

 

For a quick finish I used the Fancy Frame dies for the inside layer and stamped the Happy New Year from the Happy Celebrations set.

Snowman Cookie Boxes

 Hello my crafty friends! Been trying to catch up and get ready for the holidays. I am feeling so behind!! I gave my Cricut a workout this week making these adorable snowmen boxes for my daughter to give away to her Yearbook Co-editors and staff.

Sorry the pics aren't the greatest but I made these all the night before she had to take them to school so these are all taken in my kitchen around midnight after I bagged the baked goods and put them in the boxes.  The boxes are from My Scrap Chick. I have so many of her wonderful files and have barely even used any of them. Hopefully that will change this year as I would love to make more 3D items.  I cut out the eyes and carrot nose with my Cricut but the lashes and mouth are all hand drawn. I added some pink cheeks with chalk and white doodles with my Gelly Roll pen. I finally added the sparkle on the holly berries with my Wink Of Luna pen.

The little stitched tag is from the Craftin Desert Divas Pocket Pieces HI Dies and the sentiment is from the Baked With Love stamps. 

Here is the bunch I made. I think they turned out cute and I'm so happy her friends loved them! I don't know if I will have the time to do any crafty Christmas stuff since I am so behind but hopefully I will be able to play some more in my craft room. I hope you all have fun this time of year! I'm looking forward to NOT hosting Christmas and staying in my PJ's Christmas day LOL! Yep! I decided that I'm taking this year off from having a family Christmas dinner.

Thanks For Being So Mice!

Hi everyone!! It's been over a month since I've been in my craft room. Trying to find my crafty mojo again and get back into the groove. Today I am sharing a shaker card I made using the adorable sentiment and mouse from the Craftin Desert Diva's Animal Antics stamp set! This set is being featured on the blog and it is the last day it will be on sale. 

I stamped and colored my own back ground paper using the cutie pie mice with my Spectrum Noir markers. The little hearts are hand drawn. I used the oval die from the Banner Dies set to cut out the center for the shaker. The layers are from the Fancy Frame Dies. I added an extra layer of glitter white card stock and placed it on a gray card base. Finally I added a bow using this sparkly heart ribbon. I had no idea where I was going when I started this card and I hope you like the finished product!

I figured this could be a thank you card for any occasion or I could even make this into a 

Valentine's Day card with all the hearts!

Pink & Black Pocket Letter

Hi friends! Sorry I have been away for so long. My family lost someone so dear to us and it has been a rough few weeks. I needed a distraction so I am popping in to share this pocket letter I made for a new friend that I met at the Pocket Letter Pals Valley Girl Meet Up last month. She likes pink, black, bling, butterflies, coffee, and her spotted pit bull mix pup. So I used all that info to put this together.

For the tag I used the Indie Art cartridge for the butterfly and made the wings pop up. The top row I used a card with the roses cut from the Artfully Sent cartridge. I stamped it with a sentiment from the CDD Blooming For You stamps. I got the purses from Paisley and the Formal Occasions cartridges. I added some bling and used the CDD Pocket Pieces Hi Dies for most of the stitched rectangles in my PL. The hello with the butterfly is from the Lyrical Letters cartridge. I used glitter cardstock for the pink and the white and added mini pearls to the butterfly. 

The center row I used the Artfully Sent cartridge for the beautiful cutout. The butterfly and sequins are from Craftin Desert Divas. The center pocket is sooooo sparkly I wish it showed up better in the photos. I used all glitter cardstock from DCWV and the Monogram is from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The sparkle cutout is from the Disney Tinkerbell & Friends cartridge.

The bottom row is my favorite. I used this cute pup from the Animal Kingdom cartridge and colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers to look like her pup. I added brown pearls for his eyes and stamped the sentiment & paw using the CDD Animal Antics stamps. I made the center shaker with the cut from the Wild Card cartridge. The letter inside the shaker is from the Sweethearts cartridge.  And finally the pup with the thought cloud and bone I also colored with my Spectrum Noirs, I made using a die set from My Creative Time.

For the back I made a bunny card to tuck my letter into with the Sugar and Spice cartridge.  I filled the pockets with paperclips I made with the Love You A Latte cartridge, some prima flowers, die cuts from Craftin Desert Divas, twine and some stickers.
