Spellbinders Stained Glass Bouquet Collection Dies

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share a couple cards I created using some amazing dies from Spellbinders! These dies are from Becca Feeken's beautiful Stained Glass Bouquet Collection.

These cards came together pretty quick and easy! For my first card featuring the Radiant Oval Dies I cut out each die and used the outline dies to cut out the flowers and the oval shape. I inked both the image and the oval using Distress Inks.

The gold accented patterned papers are from a 2019 Spellbinders Card Kit. I used my new April Large Die of the Month Universal Curved Border Set to cut out the scalloped trim. Even though it was made for a slimline card it still worked great for my A2 sized card. I added the trim of gold mirror cardstock from the Card Kit of the month. I also cut out the sentiment using the Our Favorite Font Dies from the Small Die of the Month December 2019 which is on sale now!

For my second card I used the outline dies on all the cuts and cut out an additional outline only cut of the flowers so I could ink them using purple Distress Inks. I cut out several flowers and a couple leaves.

 I also trimmed the large die cut to have the scroll look on all four corners. I used the Thank You dies from the same word die set which has several sentiments to choose from. For a finishing touch I added shimmer pen over the flowers and a splash of iridescent sequins to the corners of my card.

Newton's Nook Designs & Therm O Web Inspiration Week

This week Newton's Nook Designs and Therm O Web are partnering for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to use Therm O Web products with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! I'm so excited to share some new to me products from Therm O Web that I used along with my favorite Newton's Nook Designs stamps and dies!! Adding the foils really adds a "wow" factor to my cards. 

For my first card I stamped and embossed this adorable gnome from the Gnome Garden stamps. I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. This is my first time using foils on my projects and they are so much fun!! For the background I used the deco foil Kraft Love Blooms Toner Card Front along with deco foil Transfer Sheets in Rainbow Shattered Glass. 

I cut out the layer using the NND Framework Dies. I also used the Circle Frames Dies to create a grass and sky background with the Clouds Stencil and Distress Inks to help the image stand out against the beautiful foiled background. The rainbow foil gives my card such a "WOW" effect!!

For my second card I used one of my favorite images from the Smitten Kittens stamps. I stamped, embossed, colored it with Copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating dies. For the background  I used the deco foil Dainty Hearts Toner Card Front along with the deco foil Transfer Sheets in Rainbow Shattered Glass. I cut the sides of the panel using the scalloped die from the NND Slimline Frames and Portholes Die. I trimmed the foil scraps down and adhered them to the card base using the icraft Easy-Tear Tape in 1/4 in. 

To help the kitties stand out against beautiful foiled hearts background I cut out a heart from the Heart Frames Die and ink blended it with Distress Inks. I also stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set and embossed it onto the banner from the Banner Trio Dies. I hope you like my cards :)

Just BEE-Cause

Hi everyone! I have a card to share today featuring the Just Bee-cause stamps from the new La-La Land Crafts April 2021 release. This may be my favorite!!

I stamped, embossed and colored up this adorable little bee holding the rose using Copic markers. All the images are so cute but I especially adore this one. For the blue background panel I cut out the panel from the Celebrate Paper Pack. I also used the new Awakening Paper Pack for the floral strip. I used the Scalloped Rectangle Dies to add scallops to the sides of the pink cardstock. 

I also used the new Rise and Shine Background Stamp on the hexagon. I love the new Hexagon dies and the different versions that all coordinate together. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added the iridescent sequins for a finishing touch :) This release is packed full of so many great stamps and dies! Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 4

Hi everyone! Today is Day 4, the last day of reveals for the Newton's Nook Designs April 2021 release!! I'm so excited to share the three new stamp sets and the projects I created.

For my first card I stamped and white embossed the heart from the new Heartfelt Butterflies stamps onto a panel that I cut using the Framework Dies. I inkblended the background using Distress Inks.

I stamped, embossed and colored with Copic markers the kitten from the new Captivated Kittens and cut it out using the coordinating die. I popped him up with some foam tape and added some sparkly purple gemstones. 

For my second card I stamped and embossed and Copic colored the heart from the new Heartfelt Blooms stamp and cut it out using the coordinating Heart Frames Die set. I also stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut it out using the coordinating Banner Trio Die. 

I ink blended a rectangle and popped up the little pup. I just love the new Puppy Friends stamps and had to use this cutie on my birthday themed card. For final touches I added some sparkly blue flatback gems. There is also a new sentiment stamp set called Mom and Dad that I will use on an upcoming project. I hope you like my cards :)

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 3

Hi everyone! Today is Day 3 of the reveals for the Newton's Nook Designs April 2021 release!! I am so excited to share the new stamp and coordinating die and the card I created!

I created a slimline card featuring these new cuties from the Puppy Friends stamps. Aren't they just the cutes?! I stamped, embossed and colored up the pups using Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I also used the scalloped layer from Slimline Frames & Portholes, the frame from the Slimline Frames & Windows Die and the square from th Slimeline Masking Circles & Squares Stencil. I ink blended the backgrounds with Distress Inks. 

I stamped and embossed the sentiments. Then I popped up the pups with some foam tape.

For a final touch I added some sparkly iridescent sequins. I hope you like my card!
