La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! It is Inspiration Monday on the La-La Land Crafts Blog and we are sharing projects with the theme: Mother's Day

All the supplies and colors are used are listed below. Here is what I created:

I used the new new Lily dies and cut them out in white card stock and colored up the flowers and leaves using Copic markers. I created a shaker using the new Bloom Vase Die. To create the background I used texture paste and the On the Wall Stencil.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the A Good Day stamps and fussy cut it out. I think the new floral dies are just gorgeous! What do you think?

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 4

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release and we have one more stamp and die set to reveal: Newton Loves Tacos.

I stamped little Newton and colored him using Copic markers and cut him out using the coordinating die. To create the card base I cut out the side of a 4.25" x 5.5" card layer using the Land Borders Die. I added the festive chevron patterned paper from the Springtime Paper Pad and added some light inking behind Newton.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 3

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release and today we are featuring the new Dad's BBQ stamp and coordinating dies. Here is what I created.

I stamped and colored all the images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. The grass was cut using the Land Borders Dies. The little kitten is from the New Cat Stamp set.

I used both the Slimline Frames & Portholes and Slimline Frames and Windows dies to create the card layers.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 2

Hi crafty friends! It is day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release and today we have two new stamps and coordinating dies to reveal. Here is what I created :)

I stamped and colored the images from the Destination Love stamps using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. For added texture I dry embossed the background layer using the Petite Hearts stencil. The oval layer was cut from the Oval Frames Die and lightly inked using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and popped up the layer using foam tape.

For the second card I stamped the lilacs three times and colored them using Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies and added the extra stem to make the center lilac appear taller.

The background was ink blended and splattered and the sentiment was heat embossed. For a finishing touch I added sparkly gems to the flowers.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 1

Hi crafty friends! It is time for Day 1 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release Reveals for Day 1. Today we are showcasing the new Cycling Friends stamp & die set and Tree Line Stencil! Here is what I created:

I colored the image out using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. To create the background, I used the new Tree Line Stencil and Distress inks. For the grass and road I used the Land Borders Die.
