Hi crafty friends! It is time for the annual Deck the Halls with Inky Paws blog hop! I am a huge fan of all the Newton's Nook critters and one of my favorite Christmas sets is the Christmas Puppies. I love how the patterned papers coordinate with the stamps and make super easy backgrounds.
I stamped and colored the adorable pup using Copic markers. There are coordinating dies that go with this stamp set. I chose colors that matched with the Christmas lights on the patterned paper from the Christmas Time Paper Pad.
I cut the rectangle from the Frames & Flags Die Set set and stamped and embossed a sentiment from the A Kitten Christmas stamps. To help the pup stand out I ink blended a light blue patch and popped him up on some foam tape. It's hard to see in the photo but I added sparkle marker to the lights and then for a finishing touch I added some bling around the sentiment. The supplies I used are listed below and there is a special sale at the shop through December 11th!
