There's Gnome-one Like You!

Hello crafty friends! I have a card to share that I created for the Newton's Nook Designs' blog. I created a spring themed card featuring a few different stamp sets.

First, I grabbed this little gnome with the flower from the Gnome Garden stamps. I colored him up and cut him out using the coordinating Gnome Garden Dies. I'm always drawn to the Bitty Bunnies stamps and decided to add this little fluffy bunny to the card to sniff the little flower. For the background I ink blended some greens and blues. I decided to add a layer of grass using the Land Borders Die Set. 

 I cut out the background using the large scallop die from the Frames & Flags Die Set to layer on my A2 sized card base. To create a garden, I stamped and colored some florals from the Bleeding Heart Stamps and Tulips Stamp and cut them out using their coordinating dies. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Gnome Garden stamps and added some silver splatter in the sky and gold splatter on the grass. To add a little dimension, I popped up both the gnome and bunny using some foam tape.

Newton's Nook Designs Sweet Treats Blog Hop

 It's time for the Newton's Nook Designs 9th Annual Sweet Treats Blog Hop and the Design Team is hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats - just in time for Valentine's day! Here is what I created:

I created a couple of lollipop holders using the Bookmark Die Set. See's lollipops are a family favorite and I thought it would be fun to dress them up in some Newton's Nook cuteness. To create the holder I used a partial die-cutting technique and cut both ends with the top of the bookmark edge. I used the adorable pawprint patterned paper from the Love & Meows Paper Pad.

The six inch double sided paper created the perfect size holder inside and out. I stamped, embossed and colored up the kitty from the Newton's Heart Stamps and the pup from the Puppy Heart Stamps using Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating die sets and popped them up using foam tape. 

Adding the ribbon from my stash through the top slots was the finishing touch.

Love You 2 Bits!

Hi friends! I have a Valentine to share today featuring the adorable Newton's Nook Designs Love Bots stamps and coordinating die set. All the supplies are used are listed below. 

To create my card I first stamped and colored the adorable cat and dog image from the set and cut them out using the coordinating dies. Next I cut out the scalloped heart from the Heart Frames Die set and ran it through my die cut machine with the Tumbling Hearts stencil to give it a light embossing. To add some depth I inked the heart lightly using some pink Distress Ink.

 I cut the background layer using this cute patterned paper from the Love & Woofs paper pad with the largest die from the Framework Die set. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut it out with the banner from the A7 Frames & Banners Die. I adhered all the layers onto a pink card base and popped up the critters and the sentiment using foam tape.

Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 4

Hi everyone! It is Day 4 of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's January release and today we are sharing the last stamp and coordinating die set. Here is what I created:

This sweet image is most definitely one of my most favorite images!! I had so much fun coloring up the kitties using Copic markers. I cut the images out using the coordinating dies. I also used one of the word bubbles from the Never Enough Dogs stamp set that was revealed yesterday. For the background layer I cut out the postage rectangle from the Framework Die Set. Next I took some patterned papers from the new Love & Chocolate Paper Pad to add to the background.
