Hello and Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow my kids go back to school. I was sad at first but now I'm happy about it. It will be good for them to get busy again. Too much time on their hands means too much TV and video games!
It is interesting how in Jr.High and High School they don't get lockers anymore. It kind of makes me sad because I really enjoyed decorating my locker when I was their age. They do get a PE locker and that is where I got the idea for my next project.
I used my Imagine machine and some printable vinyl. The plastic containers I found for under $2 at Target. I used three cartridges. For my sons's I used my JT Cartridge. He is starting 7th grade and anything cool is "epic"!
For my daughter who is starting 9th grade I used the Enjoy the Season's Cartridge. I am hoping she enjoys High School. With our move this past year it has been especially hard for her to make friends. I have been trying to help her be more outgoing and teach her that this year can be whatever she decides to make it. The letters are from my CTMH Artiste Cartridge. I printed and cut everything on the Imagine and used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on Shelbi's box to give it that extra bling.
Here is what I put inside of the boxes. The extra little "somethings" they might need before and after PE. There's even a little room to add more stuff they might think of. I'm both excited and nervous for my kids and their new adventures that lie ahead. I pray that they both make friends and enjoy their school year.
This project was so fast and simple! I hope to do more projects with vinyl again soon.
I will participate in the following challenges:
