Here is what I made:

Isn't she adorable?! How cute is that Kimono? I cut the screen with my Cricut and backed it with vellum. I then added gold sequins. The center is Honey Gold Nuvo Crystal Drops.

This is my first try at black hair. I also stamped and gold embossed the blossoms on her Kimono.

Kimono Shaped Card and Cherry Blossom Tag

Hello friends! I am here today to share the card and tag I made for my Mom's 80th Birthday today! Woo Hoo and we are heading out to Universal Studios Hollywood to hang out and celebrate. 

 I think they turned out so pretty! The card base is from SVG Cutting Files called Kimono Trifold Card. I decorated with some Japanese paper I bought on Amazon. The tag is from Jaded Blossom's Treat Tag Dies and the sentiment is from the JB Gift Cards Galore set. 

I embossed the Obi and the tag using the Cuttlebug Herringbone and Oriental Weave embossing folders. The banner is from the JB  Mini Banner Dies 2 set and the sentiment is from the new JB Warrior Princess stamps.

The inside is stamped with the JB So Many Birthdays 2 stamps.

Kawaii Invitations For My Daughter's Sweet 16 Dinner

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am sharing some invitations I made for my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday party. I just can't believe it! How does time go by so fast?? She wants a dinner to one of our favorite Japanese Restaurants called Gyu Kaku. So I made some kawaii invitations for her to give to her friends.

The card base is from the Cricut Creative Everyday Cards cartridge and measures 6.25" x 4.5". The  wood grain layer is a print and cut from the Greeting Cards Inside and Out cartridge. I added a burgandy layer. I thought this color combo was perfect. The sushi is from SVG Cutting Files. The ramen is from the Pagoda cartidge. I made the sushi platter using basic shapes from DS, The Kanji character says Friend. The sentiment is from the CDD Simply Said stamps.

Here they are all finished.

Beary Sweet Thanks

Hello friends!! Today is the last day of the weekend sale at Craftin Desert Divas!! I hope you are able to take advantage of this great deal!

Today I have a set of thank you cards to share. I had to use my favorite stamps....Panda Pals again!!  I love these sweet panda stamps and dies!! 

 The bamboo is from the Cricut Pagoda cartridge. I embossed the white paper with a bamboo Cuttlebug folder. I have been trying to make gender neutral cards so that I can give them to guys or girls. I don't know... could you give this to a guy???? There is absolutely no bling on it, lol!

The sentiments are from the Panda Pals and Simply Said sets.

I made 4 of them!!! Trying to build up my stash! It's nice to have

Teapot from Pagoda

Hello there! Today I have a simple card that I made with my mom. She is very crafty with sewing and ceramics and wanted to learn papercrafting to make a card for a coworker.  She wanted to give the Cricut and Cuttlebug a try and this is what we came up with. 

First we needed a teapot. My mom works at a Japanese restaurant and so we picked this pot from the Cricut Pagoda cartridge. She wanted a floral design so she chose this paper from my hoards. I fussy cut around the lid to give the different layers look.  

We chose the flower cuttlebug folder that came with my machine.  I showed her how do some inking for dimension.  She chose the sentiments from My Pink Stamper and we added a little ribbon.  To show her variation I taught her how to do an easle card

I cut out the inside layer and sentiment tag from my ever favorite Elegant Edges and added a fabric flower with rhinestone on the inside. We had a lot of fun crafting together and she really wants to play more in my craftroom! Maybe next week we'll do another project together.
