Cute Snowman Heartfelt Thanks Thank You Card

Hello everyone and Happy New Year's Day! Today I am sharing this project on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog. It is a Thank You card. I'm starting off 2015 full of gratitude! I am so thankful for the many blessings I am so fortunate to have in my life....my family, my home, my friends and all of you too my crafty friends! I try to send thank you's for the many gifts we are blessed to receive during the holidays and on this card I chose a sentiment from the CDD Simply Said stamp set.

I made a fancy square card using the Cricut Artiste cartridge. The snowman is from the Too Cute By Jessica Cute Snowmen file. I decorated this snowman with a string of hearts to tie in with the saying "Heartfelt Thanks". I used a face stamp from the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes face assortment. Here is a closeup of the sentiment.

I used my Wink of Stella pen on the hat and the snowflake embellishments are from Recollections.

A Puppy In My Stocking

Hello everyone! Can you believe there is only 5 more days til Christmas? Yikes! My how the time flies! Preparations are still in progress for hosting Christmas at my house and I have so many presents to wrap still!!! Today I am sharing a Christmas card that reminds me of my daughter when she was little.

This adorable little girl file is from Too Cute By Jessica's Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Girls. I used a Peachy Keen Face Stamp from the Christmas In July set. The puppy in the stocking is from the TCBJ's A Puppy For Christmas file. I added pearls to the bows and buttons to her shirt. I love the little white stockings with black shoes just like my daughter wore when she was tiny. The sparkly poinsettia is a Recollections embellishment.

For the sentiment I used the Craftin Desert Diva's Tag It and the Happy Celebrations stamp sets.

Winter Penguin Decorating His Igloo

Hello my crafty friends! Is everybody ready for Christmas? My son has been so kind to announce every single day just how many days are left, lol! Do any of you host for the holidays? Lucky me I have Christmas every year at my house and it looks like I'm stuck with Thanksgiving now too..... For those of you who host, I salute you and wish you as low stress as possible, hee hee (If there is such a thing)! I don't think anyone can truly understand what goes in to hosting a holiday until you've had to do it year after year by yourself. I'm trying to buck up and not sweat the small stuff but...... it ain't easy!!

Today I have a cute little igloo shaped card to share :)

I used the Too Cute By Jessica Cute Winter Penguins file that was a Craftin Desert Diva's hop freebie. I just love these adorable and chubby little penguins! The Igloo and light strings are from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge. I welded and cut the igloo shape at about 4"x 11 3/8". I hand cut the glitter paper along the bottom for the snow.

The colored papers are all from my scraps box. I used flocking powder for the cute little beanie. I also added some Wink of Stella glitter on the lights. The face is from the Peachy Keen Winter Wonderland Face Assortment.

The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Get Your Jingle On set and I used the SVG that goes with it. Here are pics of what I used:

Cute Christmas Bird Gift Shaped Card

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!! Today is my day to post on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and I have a sparkly gift shaped Christmas card to share.

I used the Cricut Wild Card cartridge for this shaped card. It is cut at about 7.25". For the ribbon I used some sparkly white card stock from Martha Stewart and the candy cane paper is from a MAMBI sheets Christmas stack. I can't find the name on it but it has the CUTEST papers!

The little bird is from the Too Cute By Jessica Cute Christmas Birds file. I cut her out at about 2.75". Oh my goodness I love this file! I love birds almost as much as I love bunnies!! I have been dying to use the Variety Face Assortment stamps from Peachy Keen just for this birdie face! I added little tiny pearls and sparkle to her scarf. I used metallic markers for the design on the ornament and added a gold bow. I also added sparkly red to her wings and the Wink of Luna sparkle to the white on her Santa Hat.

For the sentiment I used the CDD Simply Christmas stamp set. This stamp set is one of my favorites and is simply a must have for all your holiday projects. Here is a close up of the sentiment I used. I love that festive font!

Sparkly Cute Winter Penguin

Hello and happy Tuesday! Woo Hoo for the rain in SoCal! It won't get us out of this drought but we'll take it! I'm preparing for my final 2 class recitals this week and then.... I go on winter break. Woo Hoo for that too! Maybe then I'll get some extra time to craft for Christmas :)

Today I have a cute little card to share that I made using one of the Too Cute By Jessica hop freebies from last week. These penguins are so adorable.

I made a few of the penguins and hope to get them all on cards this week. I started this card by using my favorite 2 colors, purple and blue. I used a light blue glittered A2 sized card base. I added one of the ice skating penguins. The penguin is cut at about 3 inches without the hat. I used my Darice snowflake embossing folder with my Cuttlebug for the background.

The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's November Freebie stamp set. I added some shimmer on the hat and ice with my Wink of Stella pen and stickles for the snowflakes. The cute face is from the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes stamp set. I added some Wink of Luna silver for the skates. This is card is SO SPARKLY!!! I wish you could see it in person as the pictures do not do it justice especially with the gloomy sky.

And finally I added the cute little pom pom for the hat. I popped up the penguin and ice on foam tape and there you have it. This could be an easy card to mass produce for Christmas. But I think this will be 1 of 4 note cards instead. I hope you like my sparkly cute card :)

And now on to my creation....

I made this 5.5 " cupcake shaped card using my Cricut Sweet Treats cartridge. I used sentiments from the new Craftin Desert Divas Baked With Love stamp set. I also used the Too Cute By Jessica Baking Up Some Christmas Treats file for this sweet little baker.

I stamped her face using the Peachy Keen Princess Face Assortment. The Christmas papers are from MAMBI sheets and K&Company.

The tag is from the Craftin Desert Diva's new Tag It set. I used some translucent glittery embossing powder over the tag and heart after I stamped the sentiments.
