Here's what I've created for you today...

I made a shaker card using the mini stamp sets Crabby and Wish Upon A Star. I also used the Outdoor Landscape dies for the card design. The sentiment is from the Panda Pals stamps. I filled my shaker with the Mermaid Lagoon Sequins and sealed them with my Fuse tool. I splattered some blue and yellow watered die ink across the front. I wanted this card to be unisex. I am challenged when it comes to making masculine cards. It seems that when I focus on creating projects suitable for both male and female it is a little bit easier and I do a little bit better.

Next I made another shaker card using the Wanna Hug and Wish Upon A Star mini sets! I just love these little jellies so much!! The coral and sentiment is from the Under the Sea stamps. I also used the wave die from the Outdoor Landscape Dies for the entire background of my card. I inked it up and put it together like a puzzle.

I used the Mermaid Lagoon sequins again for the shaker. I added some glossy accents to the coral and starfish.

My last card I made using the Panda Pals. As much as I LOVE the sea themed stamps this release... I am totally loving these pandas even more!!

I used my Cricut Simply Sweet cartridge to cut out the stitched squares. I used the Outdoor Landscape dies for the background hill. I stamped, colored and cut out the pandas & bamboo with the coordinating dies. I thought this would be a great card for my daughter to give to one of her school friends.

The sentiment is from an older set called Deer Friends and worked perfectly for my card. I added a little sparkle to the bamboo and this cute stitched black ribbon and was done.

Celebrate Panda Pals

Hello and happy Thursday!! Today is Day 4 of the sneak peeks for Craftin Desert Divas June Stamp Release. Our sneak peaks are on facebook so to be sure to go to the Craftin Desert Divas facebook page to see all the design team projects. If you "like" all the facebook pages and comment

Today we are showcasing the Panda Pals stamps and dies. Here is what I made:

I made a couple shakers using my Cricut Celebrations cartridge to cut out the word celebrate.  The scallop rectangle is from the Artbooking Cartridge.  The little pandas were so fun to stamp, color, and cut. I just kept making them! 

I filled my shakers with the CDD Cotton Candy sequins. I splattered some watercolors using my Distress pens. 

Finally I added some of the sequins to the face of the cards. These were so fun to make!!

This stamp and die set will be available as a special priced bundle in the shop on Friday.

Sweet Wishes With A Cherry On Top

Hello friends!! Today is Day 2 of the sneak peeks for the Craftin Desert Divas June release! The sneak peeks are on facebook so if you want to join in it all starts at the CDD facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/CraftinDesertDivas. 

Today I am sharing a card set using one of yesterday's sneak peeks 

called Sweet Wishes.

I'm finding it very efficient to try to make 2 cards at a time even if they are identical. For me it takes about the same time as just doing one so I might as well get a second card out of it. lol! I am not a fast scrapper or papercrafter. Sometimes I stare at the paper for a couple hours before I even get started. I have to visualize what I'm making and sometimes it takes a while to get that initial vision.

I do love this little snail and you can never have enough birthday cards so I envisioned this little happy duo. I used paper from DCWV and I embossed with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I stamped this little cutie onto the stitched oval die from the CDD Banner Dies set. I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers and added the shimmery polka dot bow.

June Release Day 1 Facebook Sneak Peeks

Hello friends and happy Monday!! Today is Day 1 of the sneak peeks for the Craftin Desert Diva's June Release. We are doing our sneaks on Facebook so be sure to head over there to like and comment on the design teams pages to get the free SVG's- Craftin Desert Divas Facebook Page

Today we are showcasing the 4 mini 2x3's: Wish Upon A Star, Sweet Wishes, Crabby and Wanna Hug and the new Outdoor Landscape Dies

 Here is what I created:

I made a shaker card using the new mini Wish Upon A Star. Isn't this the cutest starfish ever?!! I used my Cricut Stamping cartridge to cut out the circle and scalloped circle frame. I colored the under the sea background with my Spectrum Noir markers and used the stitched Landscape dies for the sand.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment with gold onto this speckled vellum banner. I then filled the shaker up with the Mermaid Lagoon sequins. I am loving these new stamps and I know you will too!

Here is what I made...

I made a patriotic shaker card!! I used my Cricut and the Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut out the fourth of July. The stitched stars are from the Craftin Desert Diva's Banner Dies. I cut them out with the Doodlebug Patriotic Picnic paper pad that you can also find in the CDD shop.

The sentiment is from the Say It Big stamps and I filled my shaker with the Freedom sequins. I did some water color splatter to give it that extra something and added a twine bow to the stars. I am lovin these shaker cards and with the variety of CDD sequins the variety is endless!
