Craftin Desert Divas March Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the CDD March Stamp Release Blog Hop.

Here's what I've created for you...

I made a barn card using the new Farm Living stamps. First I designed my card in Cricut Design Space. I used wood background paper from DCWV. My card base is bigger than an A2 and measures 6 3/8 x 4.5. I'm trying not to do birthday cards in the A2 size anymore. They are soooo small and look so tiny next to all the store bought cards. I find that my cards get a bigger reaction when they are bigger in size LOL! I used the Fabulous Finds cartridge to cut the hinges and I just altered a circle shape to make the latch and attached it with a brad.

When you open the panel these cuties are here to greet you. I stamped and embossed all the critters and colored them up with my Copics and SN markers. The sentiment is from the Punny Farm stamps and I masked off part of it to fit in the stitched label from the Banner Dies. I used the Outdoor Landscape Dies for the stitched grass.

Craftin Desert Divas March Release Sneak Peeks Day 3

It's Day 3 for the Craftin Desert Divas sneak peeks on facebook. I made a couple CAS cards to share. If you would like to hop along for a chance to win today's featured stamp sets you can start right HERE!

The first card is a shaker and I used the adorable new Spots stamp featuring this sweet little jaguar! I colored him up with my Copics and filled the shaker with the Coral Hearts sequins. I used Fancy Frames Dies for the top layer and the heart and heart frame was cut with my Cricut.

I embossed the sentiment and added Wink of Stella all around the heart for some sparkle. 

My next card I used the adorable little chick and added a the little letter from the Little Bird stamps. I embossed the top layer with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and cut out the heart with my Cricut. The embossed the sentinent and the banner is inked with Tim Holtz Distress inks. 

I hope you like my cards! CAS is so hard for me LOL! I feel like they are both missing something but I decided to just stop haha.

Craftin Desert Divas Sneak Peeks Day 2

Here is what I made using the new Bunny Trail stamps:

I made an Easter swing card featuring this cutie pie hatchling. The card base is from my Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge and I cut it out at 6 inches high.

The stitched scallop circle is from the CDD Stiched In Circle Dies. 

I used the small stitched rectangle die from the Banner Dies.

Here is a closeup of all the sparkles!

Craftin Desert Divas March Release Sneak Peeks Day 1

Today is Day 1 of the hop for the CDD Sneak Peeks on Facebook. You can hop along and join us starting HERE. 

I made a couple round card bases with my Cricut. The scallop layers are from the Stitched In Circle Dies. I gave inking a try with my new Tim Holtz Distress Inks for the backgrounds. They are definitely not perfect but I hope to get better with the technique!

I added the little bunny from the Chilly stamp set and used Flower soft for the blossoms. I water colored some pink over it so it would look like flowers. The sentiment is from the Simply Said Stamps. The flowers are from the Mini Blooms sequins.

For my night sky I first embossed the stars in the background and this sentiment from the CDD Home Sweet Home stamps. Then I blended the inks. I splattered some white ink and water for a galaxy look.  I colored up the owl and branch with my Copics and popped them up over the background.
