Hey there crafty friends! Today is Day 2 of the reveals for Newton's Nook Designs November release! Today we are featuring the All Booked Up stamps and dies and the new Bookmark Dies Set. All the new product will be available at the shop on 11/18. There is also a giveaway so make sure you read all the way down to the bottom to learn how to enter. I hope you'll hop along for the chance to win! Here is what I created:
For my first project I focused on the new Bookmark dies and the new Coffee House Stories patterned paper. Using the bookmark die I cut at an angle a couple strips of the adorable papers. I added the striped paper as a border and cut it with my paper trimmer. For the bookmark I used some coordinating blue cardstock and stamped the images from the All Booked Up and Time For Coffee stamps using Versamark, giving it a watermarked tone on tone effect.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added some ribbon. Those images are sooo darn cute!!
For my second set of bookmarks I stamped, embossed and colored the images using Copic markers. Using some coordinating colors I ink blended the backgrounds using Distress Oxide Inks. I also stamped and embossed the sentiments and added some ribbon from my stash.
I think these bookmarks are so cute and I just can't wait to create more of them!

ReplyDeleteWonderful sentinents for all things books. I like to read. Like actual books in hand turning pages as opposed to e book readers.
