La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! It is Inspiration Monday on the La-La Land Crafts Blog and we are sharing projects with the theme: Mother's Day

All the supplies and colors are used are listed below. Here is what I created:

I used the new new Lily dies and cut them out in white card stock and colored up the flowers and leaves using Copic markers. I created a shaker using the new Bloom Vase Die. To create the background I used texture paste and the On the Wall Stencil.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the A Good Day stamps and fussy cut it out. I think the new floral dies are just gorgeous! What do you think?

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 4

 

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release and we have one more stamp and die set to reveal: Newton Loves Tacos.

I stamped little Newton and colored him using Copic markers and cut him out using the coordinating die. To create the card base I cut out the side of a 4.25" x 5.5" card layer using the Land Borders Die. I added the festive chevron patterned paper from the Springtime Paper Pad and added some light inking behind Newton.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 3

 

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release and today we are featuring the new Dad's BBQ stamp and coordinating dies. Here is what I created.

I stamped and colored all the images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. The grass was cut using the Land Borders Dies. The little kitten is from the New Cat Stamp set.  

I used both the Slimline Frames & Portholes and Slimline Frames and Windows dies to create the card layers.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 2

 

Hi crafty friends! It is day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release and today we have two new stamps and coordinating dies to reveal. Here is what I created :)

I stamped and colored the images from the Destination Love stamps using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. For added texture I dry embossed the background layer using the Petite Hearts stencil. The oval layer was cut from the Oval Frames Die and lightly inked using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and popped up the layer using foam tape. 

For the second card I stamped the lilacs three times and colored them using Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies and added the extra stem to make the center lilac appear taller. 

The background was ink blended and splattered and the sentiment was heat embossed. For a finishing touch I added sparkly gems to the flowers.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release Day 1

Hi crafty friends! It is time for Day 1 of the Newton's Nook Designs April Release Reveals for Day 1. Today we are showcasing the new Cycling Friends stamp & die set and Tree Line Stencil! Here is what I created:

I colored the image out using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. To create the background, I used the new Tree Line Stencil and Distress inks. For the grass and road I used the Land Borders Die. 

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added splatter for a finishing touch.

La-La Land Inspiration Monday

Hi crafty friends! It is inspiration Monday over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and today we are sharing projects using the new April release. I decided to make a card featuring the adorable new Hey Gnomie stamps. All the supplies and colors I used are linked and listed below :)

I created a background using the new Forest Die using ink blending technique and Distress Oxide inks. Next I added some splattered. I created some daisies using the new Side Daisy Die to coordinate with the daisy the gnome is holding.

La-La Land Crafts April Release

Hi crafty friends! It is release week at La-La Land crafts and I have created a card featuring the new In Bloom Clear Stamps, the Open Daisy Die and A Good Day Clear Stamps. All the products are available in the shop and the links to the supplies and the colors I used are listed below.

To create the background I stamped and heat embossed the large floral stamp with white embossing powder. I used Distress Oxide inks to create a bright and cheerful ombre of color. The adorable bear is from the A Good Day Stamps and I colored him and the bee using Copic markers. I also cut the Open Daisy Die out and colored it using Copic markers as well. To create the frame I used the Inverted Scallops Square Die and stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Honey Bear Clear Stamps. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly gems.

La-La Land Crafts April Release

Hi crafty friends! It is release week at La-La Land Crafts and we are sharing more inspiration using the new stamps and dies! All the products are available in the shop and you can find links to the supplies and the colors I used listed below. I used the new A Good Day clear stamps and the Forest Die to create my card.

I cut out three layers of the Forest die and inked and splattered them using Distress inks to create a tree frame. I stamped and colored the pointed ear squirrel using Copic markers. The little flowers are from the new Side Daisy Die. I inked the card base using blue Distress Oxide inks and glued the layers together. 

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and added some sparkly gems as flowers to the grass for a finishing touch. I hope you like my card! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day :)

La-La Land Crafts April Release

Hi crafty friends! It is time for another La-La Land Release and this April is packed full of amazing new stamps and dies! I created a card featuring the Plant Mama Marci Rubber Stamps that was part of a monthly kit last year! She is now available for regular purchase in the shop (supply links and colors used listed below).

I adore this image and the coordinating dies especially for Spring! I stamped and colored her using Copic markers. I paper pieced her cap using the new Say It With Flowers Paper Pack. I cut out all plants and colored them with Copic markers. I cut out the Plant Stand Die twice and layered it onto the background panel that was cut using the Rounded Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added some light pink inking onto the background and stamped the sentiment. 

The background paper is from the new Magical Forest Paper Pack. It is so beautiful and fit right in with the scene. Finally I popped Marci up using double foam tape. I hope you like my card! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day :)

Newton's Nook Designs Garden Mice Note Card

Hi crafty friends! I have a clean and simple card that I created for the Newton's Nook blog today. One of my new favorite stamp sets is the Garden Mice set. The sweet little images make me smile and I especially love this little guy holding the daisy.

To create this clean and simple card I used soft ink blending technique on an A2 sized card layer leaving lots of white space. I added some splatter using some silver Glimmer Mist. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in the upper left corner. I stamped and colored the adorable mouse using Copic markers, cut him out using my Scan 'n Cut and popped him up on adhesive foam tape in the opposite corner of the sentiment. 

 For a finishing touch I added some gold glitter marker to the center of the flower.
