Love You 2 Bits!

Hi friends! I have a Valentine to share today featuring the adorable Newton's Nook Designs Love Bots stamps and coordinating die set. All the supplies are used are listed below.

To create my card I first stamped and colored the adorable cat and dog image from the set and cut them out using the coordinating dies. Next I cut out the scalloped heart from the Heart Frames Die set and ran it through my die cut machine with the Tumbling Hearts stencil to give it a light embossing. To add some depth I inked the heart lightly using some pink Distress Ink.

I cut the background layer using this cute patterned paper from the Love & Woofs paper pad with the largest die from the Framework Die set. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut it out with the banner from the A7 Frames & Banners Die. I adhered all the layers onto a pink card base and popped up the critters and the sentiment using foam tape.

Scrappy Tails Crafts Instagram Inspiration Hop

Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 4

Hi everyone! It is Day 4 of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's January release and today we are sharing the last stamp and coordinating die set. Here is what I created:

This sweet image is most definitely one of my most favorite images!! I had so much fun coloring up the kitties using Copic markers. I cut the images out using the coordinating dies. I also used one of the word bubbles from the Never Enough Dogs stamp set that was revealed yesterday. For the background layer I cut out the postage rectangle from the Framework Die Set. Next I took some patterned papers from the new Love & Chocolate Paper Pad to add to the background.

Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 3

Hi everyone! It is Day 3 of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's January release and today we are sharing another stamp with coordinating die set! Here is what I created:

Today's new stamp set is called Never Enough Dogs. This is just so doggone CUTE!! I stamped and had so much fun coloring the image using Copic markers. I cut it out using the coordinating die set. I cut the white rectangle from the Frames & Flags Die Set and stamped and embossed the sentiment across the top. I lightly inked the bottom with gray ink to give it a ground. The blue heart paper was cut from the new Love & Chocolate Paper Pad using the postage edged die from the Framework Die Set.

It's hard to pick but this may be my favorite stamp of the release. But then again, tomorrow's reveal may also be my favorite LOL! Here is a closer look at the new Never Enough Dogs stamps and Love & Chocolate Paper Pad.

Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 2

Hi everyone! It is Day 2 of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's January release and today we are sharing another new stamp set and coordinating die. Here is what I created:

I stamped and colored the new Newton's Heart stamp and the Puppy Heart stamp from yesterday's reveal and cut them out using their coordinating dies. Next I stamped them again onto patterned papers from the new Love & Woofs Paper Pad and the Love & Meows Paper Pad and fussy cut the hearts out. I glued the hearts onto the stamped image. I just knew that I wanted to pair these adorable new stamps onto a slimline card!

I cut the frame from the Slimline Frames & Windows Die set out of pink cardstock. Next I cut the scalloped layer rectangle from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die out of white cardstock. The pink hearts paper is from the new Love & Woofs Paper Pad. I stamped the sentiment onto a heart from the Heart Frames Die Set and lightly ink blended with pink ink. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly pink gems.

Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 1

Hi everyone! It is Day 1 of reveals for the Newton's Nook Design's January release and today we are sharing the new Puppy Heart stamp set with coordinating dies along with two new paper pads! Here is what I created:

First I stamped and colored this adorable new image using Copic markers. I stamped the friends fur-ever sentiment inside the heart and cut it out using the coordinating dies. To help the pup stand out I cut out a scalloped circle from the Circle Frames Die set and lightly inked it with light pink. I added foam tape to the back of the circle to add dimension.

The background layer was created by dry embossing the Petite Hearts stencil. It adds a nice embossed detail and I always have a tough time photographing how amazing this looks! Next I chose different patterns from the new Love & Woofs paper pad and cut out scalloped hearts from the Heart Frames Die set. I glued them over the top of the hearts. I added an additional sentiment from the Heartfelt Love stamp set and embossed it onto a banner from the Banner Trio Dies.
