Newton's Nook Designs March Release Reveal Day 3

Hi crafty friends! It is Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs March Release and today we are revealing one new stamp set: Spring Blooms Oval Stamps. This stamp set coordinates with the Oval Frames Die Set. Here is what I created:

I created an A2 sized card. First I stamped and heat embossed the image and sentiment using gold embossing powder. I colored the flowers using Copic markers and cut the image out using the largest scalloped oval from the Oval Frames Die Set.

I cut out a rectangular layer of metallic gold cardstock and a slightly smaller rectangle using the purple quatrefoil pattern from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad. I adhered the layers directly onto the front of my card base. I added the oval and popped up the adorable little bunny from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set. For a finishing touch I added some sparkly purple gemstones.

Newton's Nook Design March Release Reveal Day 2

Hi crafty friends! Today is the Newton's Nook March Release Reveal Day 2 and today we are sharing two new stamps with coordinating dies: Newton's Umbrella and Rainy Day Doxie. Here is what I created:

For my first card I stamped and colored the adorable Newton's Umbrella image and raindrops using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. To create the sky I used the Clouds stencil and Distress Oxide inks and cut out the layer using the Frameworks Die Set. I kept this card simple and for a little dimension I popped up Newton using double sided foam tape. I adhered the layer onto a dark gray A2 sized card base.

For the second card, I stamped and colored the adorable doxie stamps using Copic markers and cut the out using the coordinating dies. I cut a rectangle from the new Spring Blooms Paper Pad for the bottom layer. I cut out the large scalloped oval from the Oval Frames Die Set and using Distress Inks and the new Quatrefoil Stencil I lightly inked the oval.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and popped up the doxie using double sided adhesive foam tape. 

I went with a simple tone on tone look but wanted the yellow raincoat to stand out.

Newton's Nook Designs March Release Reveal Day 1

Hi crafty friends! I'm so excited to share my projects for Day 1 of the Newton's Nook March release. Today we are featuring the Spring Haul stamp and coordinating die, Spring Garden Line Stencil, Quatrefoil Stencil, Spring Blooms Paper Pad. Here is what I made:

I created an A2 sized card and cut a rectangle floral patterned layer from the new Spring Blooms Paper Pad. I stamped and colored the truck and bee using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. 

I cut out the oval using the Oval Frames Die Set and lightly inked the background using the new Quatrefoil Stencil. I stamped the sentiment and popped up the truck and bee using foam tape. 

The second card I created features the new Spring Garden Line Stencil. I inked up the design using Distress Inks. I also used the Clouds Stencil to create a sky. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and splattered the background with Glimmer Mist. For a finishing touch I added the adorable bunny and butterfly using the Bitty Bunnies stamp set.
