Kitty In the Window

Hello friends!! Happy weekend! I am down to the crunch at work with only one more week of classes and shows and then I am off for the summer! Woo-hoo! I have so much crafty fun planned for myself I can hardly wait! Today I have a card I made for my Mother-in-law to share today.

I made this adorable window card. This sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Just For Mom set is perfect. It can be used for any occasion you want to make a card for that special Mom!  My MIL loves cats and she used to have one that was white and fluffy like this. The cat is from the Cricut Pet Shop cartridge. I also used my Cricut Freshly Picked cartridge for the flowerpot and flowers.

I embossed the background using a Darice brick folder. I also water colored the background with Distress inks.  The window is a Spellbinders die. Of course I had to add my favorite butterfly sequins from the CDD shop.

Fluttering by to say...

Hello everyone!! Today I am on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog on a

Throwback Thursday to share with you a project I made using an 

older CDD stamp set.

 I have a birthday card I made using the sentiments from the

  CDD Lil Bit Buggie  and one of my favorite's, Simply Said.

I made this pop out butterfly card. 

The pop-out butterfly was designed by Shirley at Shirley's Cards. 

I altered the file in DS just a bit to make this an A6 sized card. The sentiment

 goes wonderfully and I embellished with the Butterfly Wishes sequins 

and some pearls.  I then made a bow with some pink shimmery ribbon. 

 The pink designer paper is from We R Memory Keepers Tiffany's pad.
The inside also has a pop-out and I stamped Happy Birthday from the Simply Said set.

Here is what I made...

I made little cards for my son to handout to his friends inviting them to 

get together over the summer. I made several and they are really fast and 

easy with the new CDD The Skies The Limit stamps and dies.

I also used the faces from the Bitty Blessings stamps set! The fit perfectly to 

add variety to your sun!!

Here is what I've created for you today...

I made some tags using the new Tag Essential Dies along with The Sky Is the Limit stamps and dies! When I make tags they have to be simple and these were certainly just that! I started by cutting out the larger tag and cloud, and the sun stitched die using some cute papers from DCWV. I stamped the little faces on their own circles and popped them up. I cut the large cloud in half and glued each side under the sun. The sentiment is from the CDD Simply Said set. I added ribbon and I was done! So easy!

 

My next project is a card using the Little Super Star set...

First I stamped my own background paper with the "super" stamp and the stars

 from the Witch Crossing set. I am really getting into making my own paper!  

Shhh, don't tell my hubby cause I have SO MUCH PAPER it is taking over

 my room, lol! But hey, I'm using paper to make paper right?!  I cut out 

her bow and boots using the Doodlebug Patriotic Picnic  paper that is 

now available at the CDD Shop! The medallion is from the TCBJ freebie 

and the stitched star die is from the CDD Banner Dies. The little banner is 

from the Cricut Small Talk Frames and Tags. 

My last card is using the Garden Cuties set!

All the cuts are from DS. The adorable papers are from the DCWV Violet Leaf pad. I used the CDD Mini Blooms Sequins to add a little sparkle as well as a butterfly from the CDD Butterfly Wishes Sequins. I added a little wink of stella to give her a little shimmer on her leaves and bow.

Today is Day 1 of the Sneak Peeks for the May Stamp Release at

Here's what I've created for you...

Using Garden Cuties I made a little card using this sentiment and adorable

 little Sweet Pea! For the background I used the CDD Banner Dies.

I added these little CDD Mini Blooms Sequins and topped it off with a ribbon. 
To finish it up I added this beautiful butterfly sequin from the
  CDD Butterfly Wishes Sequins pack.

For my second project using The Sky Is The Limit I made a shaker card.

I just love these stitched cloud dies!! You will probably recognize these two cuties from the CDD Fur-ever Friends set. I put them under this new umbrella stamp that I paper pieced.

These two cuties go perfect with this sweet new sentiment. I also added these

 tiny hearts from the CDD True Love Sequins.
