Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share with you the Newton's Nook Designs Day 1 reveals for the June release. Today we are featuring 2 new stamp sets and coordinating dies along with a Fireworks Stencil. Here is what I created:
For my first card I used the new Newton's 4th of July stamps and dies and the new stencil. I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie using my Copic markers. I cut him out using the coordinating die. For the background I ink blended using Distress Inks and stenciled over it with the new Fireworks stencil and Nuvo Glimmer Paste. To create the shaker I used a circle die to cut the opening on my scalloped layer from the Frames & Flags Die. I added the window and filled it using some sparkly iridescent sequins and popped up the layer using double sided adhesive foam tape.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the front panel and embellishes with some of the stamped stars. It's super hard to take pics of shaker cards but I hope you can see how shimmery sparkly this shaker is!!
For my second card I stamped, embossed and colored up this adorable cheeseburger using Copic markers. This little stamp set is perfect for a BBQ invitation or to give to a friend that loves to grill or eat burgers! I inked the background of the panel using Distress Inks.
I used the Slimline Frames & Portholes die to create the scalloped layer. I used some fun and colorful striped paper for the bottom panel of my card. This card was quick and easy to create! I hope you like it!
