You Deserve A Treat Birthday Card

Hi crafty friends! Today at the La-La Land Crafts blog we are sharing inspiration with the theme of "Celebrate". I created a card featuring one of the adorable penguins from the Just Chill stamp set (product links and colors below)

First I stamped, embossed and colored up this cutie using Copics. I also cut and colored the hat from the Pardon My Frenchie stamps and put it on the penguin. I cut a rectangle of the polka dot patterned paper from the Celebrate Paper Pack and using my bone folder I scored a frame around the edges for added interested.

I cut out a scalloped rectangle and stamped the sentiment. Then I lightly distress inked the background. I trimmed some sparkly white glittered cardstock using the Double Stitched Hills Border Die. For a finishing touch I added sequins and sparkle to the balloon and hat.
