La-La Land Inspiration Monday Hello Friend

Hello crafty friends! Today is Inspiration Monday on the La-La Land Crafts blog and our theme is: Hello Friend. All the links to the products I used and the colors are listed below. Here is what I created:

Aren't these just the cutest pups ever?! I decided to create a slimline card so I could feature all three. I think slimlines are my favorite style of card! Using the new Inverted Scallops Square die I cut three squares on a white cardstock panel to create the frame. Next I ink blended a background layer using Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped, embossed and colored up the pups using Copic markers.

I die cut the flowers and grass and colored them with Copic markers as well. I cut out a turquoise rectangle to add some more color and adhered the panels to the white slimline card base measured at 3.25" x 8.5". I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Wood Planks Background stamp set onto the smallest die from the Scalloped Rectangles Die set. For a finishing touch I added an enamel heart and yellow gems to the flower centers.
