Shaker Tag Video Tutorial

Hello crafty friends! Today I am posting over on the Craftin Desert Divas blog on a Craft Tip Tuesday with a video tutorial on how to make shaker tags using the new CDD Fancy Stitched Label Dies. I made these 3 birthday tags the same way as my Valentine tags to show you how I made them.

Here is what I made...

I used the cookie jar from the November Freebie stamp set. I have been wanting to make something for forever with this and I finally did!! Since I am loving shaker cards I thought how cute would it be to have cookies shaking around? So that is the idea that sparked this card! I chose some paper from the DCWV Evergreen stack and a kraft card stock base. The card is 5.5" square. The cookie stamp is from the Baked With Love set. I colored and fussy cut all the cookies. I even stamped them for the background behind my shaker. The holly leaf is from Get Your Jingle On. The bow is from Cricut's 3D bows and all the other cuts I made with DS.

The sentiment is from Baked With Love and I embossed it with sparkly red onto a vellum banner. I added some heart confetti and a few sequins and there you have it!  A cookie shaker. I have to admit those cookies look good enough to eat. I love homemade chocolate chip cookies!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Hello friends and Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there!! Today I am sharing a Mother's Day shaker card on the CDD blog.  I used the CDD Fur-ever Friends & Just For Mom stamps. I made this card for my mom since we are both crazy about our pups.

 All the cuts are from my Cricut except for the fabulous CDD stitched Banner Die. I cut out a heart balloon and filled it with the CDD Heart Breaker sequins. I colored the lil pup with my Spectrum Noir markers and added some twine for the string. Isn't this pup the cutest?!

Here's what I've created for you today...

For my first project I made this fun shaker card using the Just Bugcause

 Bee stamp.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets to work with! 

I love having the dies!

I love this sentiment for a Thank You card!!

Next I made this shaker card using the Just For Mom set and the 

CDD Banner dies. I like the versatility of the sentiments.

  I taped off to stretch out this sentiment.  This is a perfect card for 

Grandma to cover any occasion.
